Mr. Short Game is here to help grow the game of golf in a fun and creative way. As a golf coach I’ve learned that not everybody can be Tiger Woods, Jack Nicklaus or even Phil Mickelson. However, with some simple golf instruction and swing tips you can become a great player and shoot your lowest scores consistently. My goal is to give you great videos that will help you understand the golf swing so you can improve in your chipping, putting, driving and have a powerful swing that will last forever. Will you make it to the PGA Tour? Who knows but with the right attitude and instruction you can have more fun and play the game of golf at a very competitive level.
Thanks and please subscribe to the channel and enjoy the journey.
I bet people have already told you this but you have a beautiful swing also if you haven’t given away the ball don’t give it to me I don’t have Instagram
I get the prov for 25 bucks a dozen half price. Best ball for me has been the ERC soft. I pay the same price for those and tp5, find a ball that works best all the way around for your game. Scores will be lower faster that way.
What the Straight Stick taught me. I had to drop it to 70 mph. Then it started clicking. It taught me to separate my body from my arms. I learned to come in from the outside to the inside. I was a chronic over the top. Totally rerouted my downswing
Watching an old video of yours. (just found your channel, love it). The Sherman CC. U talked about lip gloss for chaffing. Use a dryer sheet in pocket. Trust me 20+ years in a factory. This eliminate all chaffing.
Earned my sub! Your analogies and demonstrations made it so easy to understand and visualize. Can’t wait to try this out. Only advice is maybe to think about adding time stamps to make it easy to skip through and rewatch. 3 years late but I’m definitely going to check out your other videos for tutorials. Quick question: How do you hit a flop from a much further distance? Let’s say 20-30 yards? Is it same swing but more power? Thanks!
I wish you would have included the Kirkland ball, as it is very affordable and quite popular. How does it compete in performance when compared to those on your list?
I wasnt fitted, but purchased a 54 and 60 with the D grind. That grind is a gamechanger, a machete through the grass. Huge edel fan, the eas putters are just as good, nothing can get my eas 1.0 out of my bag.
I absolutely love my 68⁰... I carry a 68⁰... 60⁰... 54⁰... 48⁰... I full stroke (giggity) my 68⁰ 52yds... reliably. I can baseball swing my 68⁰... 52yds... it just goes higher. Probably my most reliable club, right after my driver.
As someone who goes to Myrtle almost every year for golf I think Caledonia is ten times better than True Blue. The design is awesome and hard to find a more nature oriented course. Only downside I will say right it seems Caledonia is cutting costs and it's showing with the course conditions. Greens aren't as fast as they used to be and almost every time I play it now it seems to be soaked. 13th tee there might be the wettest tee box you'll ever find.
1:58 "this is not an add for blast motion" 3:31 "i do get a little commission if you use the link" hahaha i see what you did there lol but damn it this helped thanks lol
Great vid mate, I'm a bit of a golf bag connoisseur... They have to have all the right parts... Best bags imo NIKE Air Hybrid or Vessel Pro, both stand bags for versatility, good for carrying to driving range, lessons or walking but also good on carts, the bottom is key as you mentioned... The Clic Gear Bag Cosy is the remedy for stand bags on electric/ push carts... 🍻
I quit back when Tiger Woods got famous. Shortly after that the courses were full of hackers and rounds were 5-6hours long. You could hardly get a tee time. But I’m starting again now and can’t wait to shoot par and under par again. I love the channel!!
I am 65. I have a friend who is 78. We golf at the same course and our league is a bunch of old guys. He has bad arthritis. I put training grips on all of his clubs so he can hold on easier. It is not that we want to break the rules. Who give a hoot? We just want to keep on playing, no matter how poorly! Mother nature is handicapping us physically. I say use whatever clubs you want, same for grips and I will go so far as to add illegal clubs. NONE of us is ever going to play in anything outside our league, so we have the agreement, equipment? Anything goes. When the game gets to be zero fun, I will not play anymore. USGA? Does not apply in my situation.
Enjoyed the video and the series. I typically play from the forward Tees when golfing with my wife and I agree if you are playing good still tough to score

On the top of the grip theres a hole the rubber is not cut perfect The fake is painted finish The headcover is not high quality it's flat and stitching sucks
I started lining up with the ball outside of my left foot seems where I level my swing out it goes straight now maybe a little low line drive type hits
As a 71 yr old geezer living in The Villages, Fl ( or Golfers Heaven), I’ve played all brands of golf balls in the last 10 years, and the UNDISPUTED LONGEST ,STOPPING QUICKLY on the greens is the MG SENIOR golf ball… FOLKS this is the best ball to play
