Callie did not try to fix her mistakes all the time, she just either ran away from them or acted like they didn't bother her...this was in the beginning seasons but I guessed she matured

It wasn’t necessarily that they hated each other, they were both really annoyed, like Callie was mad at life in general and Marianna was always being super bitchy and was always pissed at Callie scared that she would expose her or something, but it’s really her own fault for doing all that bad and sneaky shit. Edit: I say this cause imo when someone says two people hate each other it’s usually equal and for similar or aligned reasons but with them is wasn’t, and most of it was from Marianna The thing is though Marianna was a very toxic and problematic character. She got better as time went on but she had a tendency of being self-absorbed and projecting her problems and mistakes onto others and victimizing herself when she was really at fault.

@@sady1139 Yeah exactly, part of the reason y I stopped watching the show was because of Marianna. I understood she had issues but she was just too annoying for me to like or even sympathize with. Callie was the worst on making decisions and always did some dumb stuff but I honestly didn't hate her as much as I hated marianna

@@jahnishaedwards well he also constantly said that she only thought about herself and that she was always soo selfish, but if you pay close attention she rarely does anything for herself and when she actually does everyone threw shade at her, I understand that Jude probably didn’t mean it and that he was just mad, but he never really apologizes for the stuff he says, when he was off getting high and she found out he got really pissed at her and kinda made it seem like it was her fault that he did it

She’s the older sister, so at that time he was probably only thinking, “she’s older now, why hasn’t she learned from the past? Why is she getting with another foster brother? Why isn’t she being safer this time?” He looks up to her and so when she makes mistakes or makes the same mistakes he gets mad, because he doesn’t understand why the same things are happening all over again. At least that’s how I looked at it.

Omg I’m rewatching and I’m getting towards the end of season 1 and Brandon is so annoying. 😩 I can still somewhat tolerate Callie but he is just HORRIBLE.

Him and Mariana were probably my least favorite characters on the show.

She didn't lose it, she just took lessons to speak without it. Kevin McKidd and Camilla Luddington both are the same way on Grey's Anatomy. There are A TON of actors and actresses that learned to speak without their natural accent, but can turn it on and off just like that.

It’s so funny hearing grown ass adults shame children for being reckless. Callie’s parents died and she had to ensure her kid brother’s safety. Mariana was neglected almost to the point of death as an infant and toddler. Brandon doesn’t have much of an excuse, but he’s still a dumb teenager in a house full of adopted kids. Adults love to say that these middle/high school age kids are shitty people for making childhood mistakes and maybe I didn’t make those same mistakes, but I also didn’t grow up in the foster system not knowing if I’d get a meal today

Kinda agree. Good Trouble is great and I do love seeing everyone. I never want the stories to end but, the writing is just not it. I feel like there is no character development for Mariana and Callie and I hate that. A lot of the things the writers are doing with their characters makes me mad

I'm not saying callie was the best but she had better judgement and was a little more mature than Marianna who was constantly so annoying and insecure....She had her few good moments but most of the time her behaviour was derived from her own insecurity and immaturity

Mariana when you think about it mostly ended up hurting herself and trying her best to make up for it after. Callie hurt other people and a lot of the time never saw the people with what she was doing. The writers did a really good job making her sound and look like the hero of the story when in reality theyre all broken. No one character was better than the other
