Me too. This is kind of an emotional track. This is one of my favourite songs and I was psyched to hear that the Angels use it in their pre-game ceremonies. I imagine I’ll have a similar reaction when I get to Anaheim later this year for the first time and check out the games against the Astros on Sept 27 & 28.
I’m a Red Sox fan from Boston but this reminds me of the great time I had visiting angel stadium 5 years ago and this video was played before the game and was a great opener. Hope to be back one day again 👍🏻
I remember when my dad took me to my first Angels game at Wrigley Field on San Pedro St in Los Angeles, CA. This video brings back so many wonderful memories. Go Halos! Win the pennant again this year, 2024! ❤⚾
I miss this version of the video. My old pitching coach Clyde Wright has his no hitter call in this version at @ 1:19 and it makes me tear every time. Clyde is such an amazing man and tells the best stories if you get the chance to talk with him.
Gabriel Perez I live in Pennsylvania and I wish I can go to angels game more often :( angels for life I'm also a pirates fan but I'm mostly a angels fan #angelsnation #beliveintherallymonkey
I visited the Angles from NY. I didnt even realize Ohtani was pitching. He hit a HR in the same game! Before the game when this video showed, I was completely mesmerized. What a great job showing the Halo’s history!
Gave me goosebumps, remember going to games when I was little and they’d play this almost every time, same with the spirit in the sky video, always hyped me up
Good video. My folks were Gene Autry fans so we switched from the Dodgers to the Angels. Saw the Angels playing home games at Dodger Stadium while Anaheim Stadium was being built. It was a struggle being an Angel fan but we finally got there. We’ve had some great players and some great games. Let’s do it again.
It’s crazy how much has happened since this video was posted - good, bad, and ugly. Trout, Ohtani, Adenhart, Skaggs, Pujols, Hamilton. The song has remained the same throughout and will live with me forever.
Today I was supposed to be at the 2020 season opener😪 instead I’m here watching this from home, love hearing/watching this before every game.. hopefully the season starts soon.
I’m from AZ so I’m a Dbacks fan, but married into a Halo family. My husband lost his dad in 2021, he was the biggest Angel fan I knew. I have always loved this intro and I played this every day since game 4 of the 2023 NLCS. I’d like to believe my prayers and calling was answered. #CallingAllAngels
Why are we celebrating Division Titles??? I keep having dreams that I become the next Angel great to bring more Championship celebrations to this video maybe one day...
Picture this. There is nine in my family. Four are Angel Fans. Four are Dodger Fans. I'm in the middle. I love the Dodgers. However, I have always had a soft spot for the Angels. Yup, I create the balance of teams in my family. Now, ever since I was kid, I always hope to one day see a Dodger Angel Freeway World Series.
I too tear up a little when I see this. First started rooting for the Angels in April of 1961. Sigh... Just saw the news today (8/30/23) that the team virtually put on waivers everybody they signed to try and the team over the top during Ohtani's (probable) last year with the club. What an awful day. Was happy to watch this though and feel a little bit better if only for days of past Halo glory.
+num1huskerfan1 I'm an angel fan but unfortunately it doesn't look like it this season but even in 2002 they weren't even projected to make the playoffs
