I've put ~2,500 kilometres on this bike so far, and not once have I ever felt anything but complete confidence in the grip of these skinny tyres.
I'll be uploading the full ride along the road to Mt. Baw Baw in the coming days, with no commentary.
I'm still working on the commentary cut from this ride.

I have the Honda CB125 F from the UK and my tyres are MAXXIS M804s made in Tiawan, Tyres are great in the dry but I have had a couple of times in the wet where grip wasn't the best. I ride on roads with many trucks and probably there is oily surfaces around, the raing brings it up to the surface. I will be swapping these for decent tyres when they wear out. Would be interesting to know if these tyres are only fitted to UK bikes. Superb bike as you rightly say, and I love everything about it. Great channel good work. Cheers

I hade to ride it to the workshop for a yearly and we got a random cold wave here in stockholm from the northpole with a lot of snow and 0 degrees celsius. I actually had a lot of grip on my cb125f.

I have found the tyres that come with the bike to absolutely excellent. On my second set now. Not had a puncture with them . Very easy to change yourself with tyre levers if you wish. 🎉

I've had a gsxr750 and zxr750 Ninja, but you know the most fun i had was owning a 250 zxr on my l's. You can RIDE them and not lose your lcense. Am considering one of these 125's as a commuter. No fairing to worry about, one cylinder...just makes sense.

This thing is absolutely fantastic on the fuel. The best I've recorded was 2.2L/100km

people may not realize that the cb125f can actually be better than the Honda Monkey for offroad use, narrow wheels tend to track better on the beaten path.

I agree, I do a fair amount of gravel riding on this bike and I find that they're really quite stable. Even getting out of my driveway (grass and hill) is significantly easier on the CB125F than on the 390 Duke, with it's fat tyres.

I love my cb125f Nick as you maybe know from some other posts, and after 6k miles, a lot of it on damp roads over cobbles, steep hills and hairpin bends in yorkshire, I have to say that i'm not totally happy with the grip, as sometimes it feels a little too 'squirelly' for my liking. Quite possibly it's a confidence & inexperience thing, which makes me take perhaps too much care, but empirical evidence from others seems to point to changing the tyres to something like contigo's or pirelli or others with maybe a slightly wider 90/90 front for a better ride. Having said that in the dry it's fine, no problems or worries, but i think i will look into changing when due so i can know for myself to get a better idea. GL

I don't know, maybe I just have a better brand tyre from Honda this side of the pond?

@@NicksBikes possibly so, but i don't have the knowledge yet to tell the difference, so all i can say is they are 'adequate', but the bike is built to a budget so i wouldnt expect the best anyway. cheers

thanks for being honest ive heard others talk about slippy tires but i just couldnt quite fathom that as truth it wouldnt make sense for honda to release budget bike for new riders and then it get them killed or seriously injured that would do a lot damage to hondas reputation but any way thanks for being honest

I just think it comes from people who have been riding sports bikes and the like for years, so the idea of riding something with comparatively small tyres sets them on edge. I think these tyres are perfectly balanced for the power of the bike and I'd expect nothing less from Honda

Is there a hook under the seat, to hang your helmet onto ?

Alrighty, yes there is, under the seat, but it's a bit of a nuisance though. RU-vid's notification system actually worked properly for once, it seems
