Calling Coyotes - part 2: Distress Calls by Field & Stream 

Will is a good teacher and thinks of a lot of questions and helpful perspectives from the students view and Randy is an expert but maybe better technically and together they give a real full and complete class.

This was very educational, my e caller has not delivered what I was expecting and I’ve been leaning more and more on my diaphragm and howler to mix it all up. This has helped me understand the real basics of a lot of sounds. Thank you!

Wow grown men making the kind of comments I am reading. Will and Randy are teaching together and both have a lot to offer...just appreciate and learn. They don't have an issue like the children commenting in here.

Personally I didn't see anything wrong with what Will Primos in this video. I realize Randy is full of GREAT knowledge. But Will is great at further explanation. I think these guys make a great team. WE dn't live in a perfect world. There are goood and not so good points about us all. Let's just share in our love of the hunt and leave the negative stuff to e anti-hunters

yes these little porch video suck because too many people, guy in the middle doesn't really explain and he can't take a cue either and guy on right side is so anxious even his feet look all cranked up.

@jake0123100 ummm 22lr is not ideal for coyote hunting but it works...buy the right ammo for it and hit em in the right spot and u should be fine...hopefully it is a semi auto that way you can follow up with a couple....223 22-250(what i use) or .243 are the best ones...and about the calling, i'm not really sure what to tell you, id just get a different call...i like the lil dog by primes the best...

@Dnwarrior66 They are actually pretty poor calls and the fact the Randy makes great sounds out of them proves that it's the man behind the call more than the call itself. Primos calls are cheap, plastic garbage, but they work. Considering the cost of custom calls (custom calls are very reasonable) I don't get why so many people buy them.

@apirtle15 They are actually quite poor. At least their coyote calls are. I've never used anything other than their predator calls. If you want to know what a good call is like google carver predator calls. (I have to relation to carver calls, just using as an example of a good call maker.)

@AImosTskater44 i use a sks or a 30-30 marlin lever action a 12ga with a slug or 00 buck shot works too

Great instructional video but Randy just needed to sit on Will and tape his mouth shut. He really got annoying through that whole video. He just needs to shut up and let Randy talk.

to use plastic devices to lure animals in and shoot them is a sad example of what has become of the scout, stalk them like an apache, with a short range bow, and eat everything you kill. otherwise you will continue to deplete the species of this world, and the whole chain will crumble before us. coyotes are just as necessary as were wolves, and buffalo.
