Yes her contacts and mine are very similar with the type of people we dealt with and I felt so much anxiety thinking of the people in my phone that correlated with hers. It made me want to go delete my contacts lol Like my one night stand who I had to tell I had trich. I got tested days before we hooked up and got the results right after the hook up. It was my first and only std. The plot twist was I’m a hypochondriac, it was my first and only one night stand, I was a sex educator, and religiously got tested with my partners so the results shook me. My Gyno said I could have got it from many things including a towel. My sugar momma who I adore but we are now friends and talk every blue moon. My ex married couple I left on a bad note after a 4 days vacation. The whole trip they catered to me and took care of everything. On the last night they booked an expensive hotel and treated me to dinner only for me to intentionally go to sleep right next to them in bed because they annoyed me. My old professor who I used to be in a sexual relationship with then she had a hysterectomy and became a non sexual woman. My previous therapist who I ended up having a romantic relationship with and she had to stop seeing me as a client and also broke up with me that day in the stairwell of her office because her front desk staff and I didn’t get along (the lady didn’t get along with many clients). My therapist could have lost her job because she was doing some under the table stuff to see me in her new office and also was in a relationship with me. All my ex girlfriends that I traumatized Those I ghosted Those who ghosted me. Etc… I would literally die. I’ve changed my life now, became a Christian and got close to God and I’m so glad I did because I was a lost soul. This video was intense but definitely tells a life story. I can’t imagine those who didn’t respond and how upset they probably feel that she even contacted them, some are probably gossiping to others like “girl you won’t believe who tried to call me…she’s crazy”. Some of my ex’s I wouldn’t even fathom calling because I wouldn’t want to disrupt their peace of mind after separating from me. I know I hurt some deeply and it would be selfish to even breathe in their direction.

But not mine because I only have 5 or 6 numbers in my contact list

Eh, not all good things have to last forever. If time together with another person brings the both of you joy (and if nobody's being harmed), then I reckon that's a good thing and it should be celebrated. If things ever change such that the joy is no longer present, or if life pulls y'all in paths that diverge, then ideally you'd be able to say "I really enjoyed having you in my life, bit disappointing it couldn't've lasted longer, but looks like our happiness lies elsewhere so best of luck with finding yours and thanks so much for improving my life the way you did while you were in it". I guess my point is that I don't think it's the end of the world if he can't commit forever. He's with her now and she believes he's treating her well enough, so I'm happy for them.

I actually liked this idea. It’s almost like a form of therapy in my opinion. Even if you don’t record and post on RU-vid you can still take the time to go through your contacts and reflect. Reminisce on things that once were and allow yourself to move on. At least that’s how I saw it 🤷🏾‍♀️

I think we forget that humans are complex, flawed and ever changing. The internet is definitely a reality warp that can be a little dehumanizing at times. My friends haven’t met him yet and my family is just weary he is older. The guy who gave me advice to leave is because he’s like a father figure to me and thinks the age is weird too. I’m not sure how it’s shady to care for an ex. I’m not trying to run away with him or anything. And I think it’s warranted to be confused when he gave me a ring but didn’t propose. I call it a promise ring but they don’t show that part 🤷🏻‍♀️
