Mariah Shyanne Colette wasn't playing no shit. Once they get to college most professors didn't give a shit and preferred first name. Once you are in grade school all of them did want first name.
Leo Jansen Heey do not spread negativityy okkk? I think she was nice enough about it and not every teacher is gonna be okay with being called by their first name. And I'm sure she has a sense of humor you don't know her o > o
Mary Antonio i think these days everyone over-sexualises things, you can compliment someone without being a pedophile 🤷🏻♀️ I do see where you’re coming from though
Mary Antonio he could be gay for all we know lol? He was encouraging her to better her grades not like he just came onto her. It’s a sad world were everyone is under scrutiny for giving compliments
Mary Antonio because if he was gay he obviously wouldn’t be coming onto a female since that’s the way your judgement is pointed, let people live their lives not everything needs to be over analysed
Mary Antonio your looking way too deep into it, surely if the girl felt uncomfortable about his comment she wouldn’t of posted this video? By you comparing ‘get those grades looking as good as you do’ to ‘get those grades up as good as your ass looks’ etc this just shows me there isn’t any point to discussing this any further
lmao they just sat me down and talked to me about why I shouldn't do it cause its almost disgraceful and my friends started cracking up. But ya not a great start for being a freshman. also are school caught on fire today so hell ya.
+Sasuke Uchiha But in the Declaration of Independence, it states that all men are created equal... This is in America, so there should be no superiors in that school, which also looks to be a public school, further proving my point...
Sasuke Uchiha Would you go to work and call your boss per Mr/ms? Maybe in a huge corporation, but otherwise no. They are still "superior" to you simply by being your boss.

Rekt. Anyways on windows you can easily swap between language keyboards. Hit up control panel keyboard options. On andoid there are also things you can find under settings for this. Hold space to get to the settings easy. If you are on iphone then you should reconsider your life.
In Finland we call teachers with first name always, except some angry and old school teachers. Nevertheless, we have the best education system in the world.
It's strange to me to hear ppl call their teachers by their first name for the first time because in Finland that's what you are told to do from nursery and up
I'm weirded out by this. I'm danish, we always call our teachers by first names. It's not informal or disrespectful, it's just how it is. University teachers usually don't wear suits either, but rather just regular clothing. When we get stopped by the police we don't say anything like Sir either, we just say fx. instead of "Yes Sir", just "Yes". Hell, even the prime minister is sometimes addressed by his first name Lars. The only time I can really think a person would be addressed formally if it's a rich guy who has a butler, and that butler is addressing them formally.
Sekgo Wow that's so weird, I'm german and I never knew our neighbors use their teachers first name. Back in my school I'd have to write a whole page "why you don't use your teachers first name" From some teachers I wouldn't even know the first name. Here we always use the last name to talk to people if they are in some hierarchy above us. And of course we say "Sie" (You) instead of "Du" (also you) to people we don't really know, just like the French's with their "tu" and "vous"
High school teacher with only one degree in their area of study: Hello my name is Mrs. Stevens and you will refer to me as that at all times Professor who has multiple degrees in different areas of study: Hey what's up guys I'm Nick.
They start to question their own authority, because they got called out as their everyday selves, the social norm got broken and they don't know how to respond to it (most of them don't). Hard to keep the hierarchy going on when they perceive you as someone more personal, more "normal", the authority mindset weakens.
@@garyenkwong1683 Most teachers do it because a lot of students in middle/high school have a hard time recognizing the difference between professional and personal relationships at that age.
My teachers always told me that after I graduated I could call them by their first names, but honestly anytime I bump into them I just end up referring to them as Mr. or Ms whatever their name was lol.
I remember calling my teacher "Father" once. He told me that if I was his child, I would have died long ago on a terrible boating accident... He was one of the greatest teachers I've ever had.
Right here Right now that doesn’t have to do with the point of the video, though. get over yourself, it’s not a big deal. I’m sure you don’t have a perfect body either.
Honestly, if I were a teacher I would PREFER for the students to call me by my first name. That way you're not "that teacher" but more like a person to them
Anna Gaines I don’t see the issue with someone using the name given to you at birth to address you. In the real world, people use first names when speaking to each other
