I'm so convinced this whole siege was created by the writers to bring Ben and Callum together. Hunter was supposed to be getting revenge on Jack, and what we actually got was 30 mins of Callum looking after Ben, stroking his hair, and half the square realising something was going on between them. Amazing!
It's a possibility in the dark. side of ben character if jay saw half the stuff he's yes I know Martin bullied him he,d say to lola let's get the hell out of here now Jamie is so Good in role its one of the reasons I watch it not kidding I hav been waiting since 2012 on lola n jay at last someones woken up 2019 she should never hav gone in the 1st places 2015 if no jay would have been her hubby a few years back I'm not bothered ther great togther now married or not with out jay Ben would be totally lost Wot ever boyfriend his with fact that's just. I'm liking Whitney back again after the outing attempt, props to her! I suppose she's slowly accepting Callum's feelings for Ben at this point, although she's still hurt. Callum keeping Ben talking and Sonia's 'surgery' really saved Ben's life and I'm so glad they were there. And of course, Callum playing with Ben's hair is too adorable 😍
Our wonderful angels talking just like they were in their own little bubble. Just wonderful. Callum keeping him talking and being affectionate with him to keep each other calm and give each other comfort. They are truly perfect for each other and endgame family IE Ben Callum Lexi Peggy and any and all future babies of which there will be Lola and Jay etc as well now forever and always no matter what happens they will always get through it together forever and always no matter what happens. They are unbreakable and endgame
I’ve never loved Sonia and Phil so much in my life. Sonia for saving Ben and Phil for being a dad. Bless both Ben and Callum and Whitney for slowly accepting it Also Phil bringing a crowbar to a gun fight is absolutely iconic
Yes, Sonia was great here! and it was lovely to see Phil so concerned about Ben. Whitney has honestly been amazing especially with everything she’s been through, this episode is literally set the same day as the wedding so she has literally walked out of a wedding that morning and only found out about Ben and Callum the previous day so it just shows how brave she is for being so kind, and seeing how upset Callum is about Ben makes her realise his feeling towards him.
Ben and Callum hopefully get together now I can see Callum pouring his heart out in the hospital at Ben's bedside a wedding by Christmas would be epic 😁
I don't think they would get married. I think they would be happy together. but I don't think a wedding would be very "Ben" (not even if he were straight). I can't see Callum wanting a baby either, he would be happy enough with just Lexi
Callum has already dumped him, or is on the verge of leaving him! I think he's smelt the rat, seeing Ben having jibes at Martin, I hope it all spills out, so he can see what a trash low life he's gotten into a relationship with.
@@pauljohnson6019 Nobody on EE is exactly married to Royalty or the Church. Martin bullied Ben very badly when he was ten, threatening him on the viaduct, so Ben's recent antics on the bridge was the same situation reversed. Neither can be proud of their behaviour, but let's face it, nobody is 100% good or 100%, especially in soap.
@@alangiles2763 Ben asked for it, he was always a whining little mug, who always wanted daddy to get people in trouble, he lied about Stella, and split up their relationship, that's probably the reason he got abused, he always was spiteful, up to this day, the same shit, lying and thinking he's the big man.
Callum is so good to Ben there's 2 good things about this u kno 1 he don't die and 2 more ballum❤️❤️❤️❤️ hopefully this situation brings them together and Callum basically saved bens life and Ben will be forever grateful so hopefully can't wait till mondays episode
I do like Whitney saying to callum "You stay with Ben. He needs you". Even in this context that must still hurt her, but I think she can see how much Callum cares for Ben. But Callum does care for Whitney a lot, maybe its wasn't love, in terms of Husband/Wife kind of love (I think it was more friendship that romantic really) but it is so clear to see that Callum really really cares for Ben. Then there is the look on Callums face when Ben starts to deterioate and has trouble breathing and staying awake. He looks so scared and upset. And only Callum could use asking what breakfast Ben had as suitable conversation to keep Ben awake! I guess he is just panicking really and just grabbed onto the first question he could think of. Then Callum seemed kinda pleased that Ben mentioned Lexi. If anything could keep Ben fighting on it would be the love he has for his daughter. And all through the conversation they have about Lexi, Callum does not stop gently stroking Ben's face and hair. It was so soft and sweet and so sad. The fear in Callum's voice as he tries to keep himself together as Ben talks, all the time, Ben's voice is getting more rough and quiet as he struggles to breathe and stay awake. Ben "I'm a bad dad" Callum "No you're not! - He looks quite shocked that Ben would even think that when he knows Ben is a great Dad. Ben "I snapped at her this morning. She wanted me to finish the story" Callum "The one you made up?" Ben "Yeah". Callum swallows hard at that and looks destraught as he looks to Sonia. Still, all the time, stroking Ben's hair and face, trying to comfort him. Let him know he's still there. Then you hear the ragged breath Ben tries to take and Callum closes his eyes and shakes his head a little, almost like he is trying not to hear it. To hear how hard Ben is finding it to breathe . Callum "What was it about?" Desperate to keep Ben talking. Keep him awake because if Ben falls asleep he may not wake up. Ben looks up at Callum and has this little smile on his face as he says: Ben "Its about this little girl. She wasn't afraid of anything. She always got herself into trouble" Again Callum has to swallow hard and he looks and sounds close to tears Callum "Finish that story for me" Ben "I can't" Callum "Yes you can. Yes you can." Callum getting more destraught as Ben starts to slip into unconciousness "Ben....where did you leave the little girl?" Ben "In the Lion Pen. She went to the Zoo and she fell in". Ben little smile as he says this is so beautiful. He's really struggling to keep his eyes open now. But he looks up at Callum and smiles bigger at him. Almost looks like he is proud of his story. Callum looks again at Sonia, close to tears and Sonia looks back with what looks like realisation on her face as to how Callum and Ben feel for each other. How much they mean to each other. So beautifully done this scene and amazing acting from both Max and Tony. Sorry for the long post, I love disecting powerful scenes like this!!!
I completely agree with you on that. Everything that u said. Yeah exactly they are unbreakable soulmates and endgame them and their family together. Yeah exactly Whit finally getting how much they mean to each other and love each other and would do anything for each other. It's heartbreaking to see her realize that but also beautiful as she knows that Ben would do anything to protect Callum and vice versa. Yeah exactly Callum does care about Whit and loves her but how Ben loves Lola like best friends who act like brother and sister
Ben Callum Jay and Lola are just perfect. They are so cute adorable amazing loving protective loyal kind caring for each other. They are some of my favorite characters in the show and my 2 favorite couples in the show of all time and with Lexi and Peggy and any and all future babies of which there will be they are just the most beautiful wonderful perfect family. They are unbreakable and endgame.

Out of curiosity, is this how you should care for someone (keep them talking, let them lie on their back) after being shot/in a high-stress situation? Not sure if anyone has an answer, just throwing it out there.
