he is so enticing and intriguing. his energy is very attractive. i loved the boys in the boat, he was amazing in it and Masters of the air is phenomenal so far. i’m excited to see the eps where he’s a prisoner of war because i know he’s gonna be so good!!!!
I have LOVED Callum since 2015's Queen and Country, 2017's The Only Living Boy in New York, 2016's War and Peace and more. I am so happy to see him get the attention he deserves. He's so charming in interviews. I'm ready for him to finally be a big star.
Why does it always look like hos costars are creeped out by his very presence? Is it because they resent sharing screen or stage with sub literate Dualling Benjoes himself?
He ruins every film he’s in. His bad acting and inability to forget the camera is irritating enough but worst of all is his smugness. I can’t think of another actor who radiates smugness more than this guy. As for the acting, he couldn’t be more singularly one-dimensional than if he played a headless, paraplegic stick man in a feature length flick book animation. In every other aspect I’m sure he’s wonderful.
@@renaissavnce Jokes aside, I just find his acting deeply irritating. He is perpetually and overtly aware of the camera out of shot. To me, this makes for unbelievable performances and uncomfortable viewing. As for that constant smug expression on his face, well...maybe he's just got one of those faces? Either way, it makes it extremely hard to warm to him or his characters. I'm not aware of his previous nominations but rest assured the Baftas aren't a litmus test for anything beyond parochial favoritism. Yorgos Lanthimos wasn't nominated for Best Director despite directing a true masterpiece in Poor Things. Had he been British and not Greek, he'd have been nominated and likely gone on to win.
@@chrisjames1924 dude. not saying he is oscar worthy yet. relax. but as a guy with almost to zero acting school training? he is doing alright me thinks.....(the nom was for a series btw not film...) as for Yorgo my beloved, as a Greek myself I do appreciate his mastery but he is favoured (no pun intended) by the Academy so wild guess I am sure he is gonna be fiiiine
@@chrisjames1924 final thing about turner: as someone who has watched a lot of his series (mainly bc I love period drama and crime and he has done A LOT of it) throughout the years he has grown a lot as an actor actually.... anyways. have a nice day :)
