This was a great video. I haven’t made the time to use my creative journal in a while, but I’ve been wanting to get back into it, and you had great points and reminders about why this is such a helpful approach to de-stressing, processing thoughts/feelings, and fostering creative freedom. I think I need to prioritize this again as a thing in my life.

I love how your pages come together! Maybe sometime you could explain “placement”. Are there formula’s for eye appeal because all of your pages have such great “flow” to them!!! Please keep your videos coming!! I love how calming and enjoyable they are!!

Not necessarily layout inspiration - but more of “how” do you decide where to put things - your pages are interesting, they flow. Like “why did you just put those 4 pieces of tape in those areas and in that direction. Like “why”/what is your thought process.

Creative journaling is another form of healing. Lately, I have been facing the blank page block even though I switched to kraft paper before I was using white sketchbook paper. I use TN style inserts which I make myself. I started using mixed media to overcome this block, different colours, scraps papers. Seeing you your collage respark the joy what creative journaling is journaling. I was too concern with adding lots of ephemera on the page when only a few will do. I suffer from anxiety too most of time. My mind keep bring up hurtful memories. What works is to slow down the process and not be concerned with getting the page or spread completed.

What is an OG creative journaler? I've done this for years...but never heard the term OG.

OG stands for original ganster. People typically use it for people that have been doing something for a long time and have lots of experience. It's usually not used in this context, but I thought it was fun! Lol
