I agree, but like Jefferson more in the place of Wilson. He’s a proven veteran, also has been going crazy throughout this offseason. Roman Wilson is definitely a high caliber target. But a rookie nonetheless. He still has to develop some Pro-level skills and characteristics in his game. He will definitely be an amazing player.

@@BigRico84 I respect that. I like your approach. For me I just feel like it's more beneficial for you to learn the game by playing instead of sitting. If it's between the vet who has been bouncing around vs the young rookie college star..I choose to go with the upside guy with the higher ceiling in Roman as the starter. I rather go with the young homegrown investment than the free agent who couldn't find a permanent home. But you can't go wrong with either approach #gosteelers

And what’s crazy bro is like.. I feel like nobody is even really talking about dude as having a shot. It’s “oh we might sign an Aiyuk or Sutton” or “Oh we drafted Roman Wilson” or “we signed a Van Jefferson or Quez Watkins.. maybe they’ll rise to the role” nobody has even been SPEAKING on CA3… the dude with Tyreek-like speed and build. This segment is the first I’ve heard anyone gas him up, and I hope it’s the beginning of a wave of “positively surprising” reports on what CA3 is showing.

What happened? He got traded for a bag of footballs... Why? Because the Bears knew what his worth, The NFL knew his worth and his worth is a 3-year start with 10 wins. Lots of flashy eye talent with limited wins.

Chicago only let Fields go because of the unique circumstance they were in with the opportunity to possibly draft a generational talent in Caleb Williams and reset the rookie contract at the same time. Is they were drafting 10 or later, they keep Fields for sure. Pittsburgh is where we will really get to see if Fields will pan out as a starter. No one really knows for certain. None of us are experts ands even they are not sure where it will go.

When is the last time the Bears had a pro-bowl caliber QB? 60-70 years ago, maybe. Fields had bad coaching, no line, no weapons and a mediocre run game. All he could do was run for his life and hope to make something happen. Still, last season, D.J. Moore and Cole Kmet had career years. Wilson is good, but aging and we are a run first team. I also think that we don't have the WR room to make Russ shine in the passing game.
