Because he can, yeah sure, "generic" try hearing other songs that sound similar to Harris, maybe Guetta, Dr Luke or Max Martin, but definitely not Zedd, Skrillex or Avicii. He can do pop songs if he want too, and C.U.B.A. isn't a pop/mainstream song, I never understand why they consider this mainstream, if it is, then it should be charting right now. Though I have to agree that the vocal Mix Open Wide doesn't fit with Big Sean's voice.

***** The Days, yep, while it is good, it doesn't sound like an EDM song, it's more like a pop song, no pre-chorus sound and no drop, it's almost like a folktronica pop song. But I can see that Avicii is not going for the festival/club anthems anymore.

It doesn´t matter if DV&LM played it on tomorrowland or not, that doesn´t make any track better. But people shouldn´t be overreacting, Calvin simply tried something new, maybe his next track will be better again. I personally like C.U.B.A. but not on my computer speakers, but at festivals ;)

DotSlashBBQ Oh please believe me, my speakers are definitely big enough ;) But I am talking about the crowd and the atmosphere at a festival ;) The track is good, a lot of DJ's played it at Ultra Croatia and Tomorrowland aswell, because it makes the crowd go wild! :D

I have to disagree with this one. Well this is a great song here but most bigroom like for example Martin Garrix Virus is bullshit. Seems like Calvin Harris does good drops in both progressive and bigroom :D. However Imo Progressive is usually better with few exeptions like Spaceman from Hardwell
