It is convenient to manufacture and assemble furniture yourself at home if you use cam dowels. For drilling it is best to use a special template, using a template will save you time and money.
Why do you talk like that? Are you an Artificial Lifeform, a robot maybe, sent from a galaxy far far away to ensure the destruction of humanity? If you are , then damn you, if not, then thank you for taking the time to make this instructional piece of infotainment.
My friend ! It is unlikely that an artificial life form will tell you how to make a wardrobe or bedside table at home :))) Everything is fine! I'm an earthling, it's just easier for me to do voice acting, I hope that in translation I was still able to convey the essence.
The measurements for the Rafix at the end of the video call for 9.5mm from edge to center of cam. However, the center line made with the calipers visually seems to be much further than 9.5mm (based on the metric ruler from the square you used, which can be seen right at 4:55). Are there any issues with the measurements from Hafele's spec sheet for the Rafix cam?
@@CleverBill-DIY you called the hole tool a "jig" at 0:56; I`ve checked Aliexpress, can`t find the exact same tool :( would be great if you could provide a link

@@CleverBill-DIYcan I use it to join the plywood edge to joing two long planks one larger plank? I have not seen anyone do it, wonder why. I did a trial, it seems to be ok. Wondering if I should invest in a dowel jig and go for it.
