the 5k difference is based on msrp. in reality if you shop around and haggle the difference is around 3k.

I love the cloth seats in my 1SS. I bought my Camaro for the drivetrain, not the creature comforts. My 2013 2SS was loaded. I don’t miss any of those extra options. Love your channel. I watch it more that any other channel I subscribe to.

2 days ago y went to a delearship in mexico that was offering a 2017 2SS they use for demo with no more than 200 miles on it, it has everything that you said the 2SS includes except for the bose audio, is it possible to have the 2SS without the bose audio ? Or the speakers were just missing the bose logo or what ?

I was just curious about the differences. Honestly all the extras seem nice, but I love my Riverside blue 1SS. I am able to build the inside exactly how I want which I love. It’s kind of like making my own 2SS.

Love your vids man - thanks for sharing. I was on the fence about the Camaro vs Mustang. I went with the Stang but thats my personal taste. I had a 94 Camaro back in the day and loved it. Something about Camaro - it is always the faster one. Keep up the vids - I have a few of my 2012 stang ... haven't posted any of my 15 yet. The new Camaro ATS platform was a bit too small for me for a muscle car.

the rumor is the 2SS 1LE will be a very late arrival in 2018. So it depends if you're willing to wait.

+eZ duZiT Apple car play was available at launch. No upgrade needed. Android Auto requires an update that was released in March.

I'm back. How likely is it that my passenger side rear mirror could be damaged by a replacement after doing major damage to my 2016? It seems it pulled away from the housing by it moving in and out. There are no marks on the outside of it which rules out any type of damage from the outside. And I can't make it budge no matter how or where I pull/push on it. I'm just trying to find out who or what is to blame for this since I did $12k worth of damage to it. (I have a need for speed.) Thanks, Cappy.

Hey lethal might be sorta a Dumb question but the 1SS is the SS?? Or does it go SS 1SS 2SS And is the SS is just a Stock V8 Camaro ?? BrEEzy TonY no you compass the ZL1 to a GT350. It’s SS VS GT VS R/T Scat pack. Then you go ZL1 VS GT350 VS Hellcat which is still not very fair with the hellcat.

I have a friend who just bought a 2017 SS 2SS and he said these come with 525 rather than 455. Any truth about if these numbers are factory or better yet authentic?

He is lying to you... the car comes stock at 455 at the crank, some do dyno at a slightly higher numbers, but not 525HP. unless he is getting a tune and running 100 octane, he pulling your chain.

Quick question, on the 1ss with just standard exhaust. Are there any aftermarket options available to make it dual mode on each side? Or would that require the ground effects package? Thanks

The seats on the 1SS are pretty basic where the seats on the 2ss are gorgeous! The whole feel of the car is completely different with the 2ss, to me it's definitely worth the money

I am having a hard time deciding between the manual and auto transmission. I want remote start for everyday use but I don't think you can get that with the manual. does the active fuel management come on vehicles with both manual and automatic transmissions?

Hey Lethal, I had a question for you: Are you closer to being done with your break-in of your Camaro? I was curious, because I was wondering if you would do a video on the available launch control and how to effectively operate it. It seems simple enough, but as I don't own one yet, and there are no videos on it, I thought that might be a fun video for you to film and an enjoyable one to watch for people. I know you have your Vitesse throttle mod, so I don't know how that would work in the launch. Anyway, I ramble too, sorry for all the long comments I've made on your videos! Thanks for all the information you are providing on this beautiful machine! Best channel on RU-vid for it!

There is no launch control on automatics. I think that's what Lethal has. Only for manuals.

I got the 1SS with Recaros, I wouldn't trade those seats for anything. The only thing I miss from the 2SS package is the heads up display.

hey lethal has your tire pressure monitor system been acting up mine will show that 2 tires have nothing then pop back up that they are aired up to the correct psi

+MrKarlitoz94 It's an older motor from 2009, over the years was offered in a 5.3L and a 6.0L design. Less power and not nearly as many after market products made for it. I think the LT2 was last used in the Chevy avalanche.

I'm waiting to see the 2017 ZL1, but I've also been looking at the GT350. However - there is no way I am ever going to pay a huge dealer markup. If I can't get a good deal on the Camaro or Mustang, I'll get a new BMW 340i. Not as sporty, but still a sweet ride - especially for long trips.

HUD can be usefully but total not a necessity. The sound system can be modified for around $300-$500 and could sound better. Even with blind spot alerts, still can’t see lol. Who doesn’t have a $20 car charger these days. In fact, wireless charging takes 5x longer so theoretically, if you left home to go to work or get groceries (15 minute trip) and charged your phone (assuming your phone supports wireless charging) you’d only get about a 3%-5% jump versus more charge with a cable. RGB lights on Amazon are $15. Not worth $3,000 to $6000 extra and yes I have owned both cars.

Do you think the 1SS is faster than the 2SS? I mean it is lighter due to not having say a sun roof (i'm aware this is not standard), leather seats, and more tech etc. P.S. I'm a huge numbers guy.

Man the vented seats and nav is nice but i can get by with cloth seats, mediocre speakers. Bare bones imo is better for me. My na tuning (600ish hp) setup comes out to under $55K
