V8 never come close to Flat 6 (porsche) even in this race, the Camaro was experimental division car so it had more power than the division it was trying to beat. As soon as all the le mans rules apply you will see the glorious V8 last😂

@@lahandri7275The MK4 Toyota Supra has only 200 to 300hp and is slower than my 250hp Subaru Legacy GT. I beat them in races all the time. They are slow in both corners and straight lines. Don't come at me with well if it's tuned because you can tune any car with 20K and get about 1000hp.

@@jamal4381 they also completely re made the aerodynamics and made it lighter, they also tuned the engine and it had special tire specifically for that occasion,they also had the advantage of power and driver and were allowed to do things that are normally illegal,if you didn't know they blew the transmission and were allowed to change it so if they were actually competing instead of just promoting nascar, they would've been discualified, it was a completely different car and even with all those advantages, it was still incapable of finishing the race.

That's so called Camaro blew a gearbox in that race and it was only allowed a new gearbox because it was a experimental division car. Also, that so-called NASCAR in le mans was changed to a point that it was not a Nascar anymore😂

Youknow what one can enter a race spec modded VW golf and call it Street legal car in Lemans by that logic, but that doesn't mean it is a streetcar anymore just because it has indicators and lights, that car has become a Le Mans car 😂😂😂

Lol. It's cool to hear the commentator's talk about this stock car from Nascar America. And how impressed they are by this "simple compared to the other cars in Leman" car design. Being an American, the first motorsport I watched was obviously Nascar. That did open the door to see other motorsports around the world. You get to see how.they are different, so you can appreciate the excitement in the voices in the announcing when they talk about it. We aren't F1, we aren't prototypes, we still adjust the car mechanically...... however, we're recognized now.

Not really, actually. In terms of top speed it was only slightly faster than the GTEs, and significantly slower than the top Hypercars because of all the additional aero. Where it did have an advantage was the low speed sections, thanks to a combination of incredible mechanical grip and a torque curve that makes Bonneville look like a mountain range.
