Definitely DO NOT approach the car, it's balanced precariously and can flip over at any second. If the guy works his way out and doesn't get crushed he's seriously lucky.
No joke, leave it there as a monument of stupidity. Put up a sign: "This is the end-result of Roger Ramjet being a road-raging idiot, don't let this happen to you."
@@Skank_and_Gutterboy Best suggestion. Others may learn. I've found it beneficial to learn from the mistakes of others; less wear & tear on my own body.
I've been driving for 45 years and have seen lots of car accidents over the years, but this is the first time I've ever seen a car climb a telephone poll.
@@krisc2476 - "Guy Wire" or "Anchor Wire" - a Cable to stabilize the Pole, usually small Diameter, on that kind of Angle, to make a Triangle. A Ground Wire, would just be Vertical, along the Pole, to a Ground Stake, for "Grounding!"
I ran out of gas at the light my friend & I started to push my car to shoulder when this guy passed by honking ,yelling &flipping me off.He got T-boned in the intersection for looking at us instead of the road.
He got t-boned' means the front the 2nd car hit the dbag's side, implying the dbag was not at fault or shares a smaller percentage of blame, especially since proving the dbag was looking sideways would be difficult to prove and hard for the insurance companies to believe, traffic lights/rules of intersection/witnesses aside. I assume Perez and friend spoke to the police. Thats my comment...LET THE ARGUING COMMENCE!
You're assuming alot there bud. Including thinking I'm as much of a fucktwit as you to argue something I know nothing about. Can't we all agree you should keep your fucking eyes on the road?
tom miller Sounds to me like you got what you deserved. What’s funnier than that is the fact that you’re too stupid to realize that it was your own fault. Try taking responsibility for your stupidity, rather than blaming everyone else.
Most likely, Tom Miller was just trolling, and was nowhere near the scene -- especially since the person who described pushing his own vehicle never said where or when that took place. And for the record, I agree: A distraction is not a legal defense to not paying attention to the road and traffic and signals. It might explain why someone didn't pay attention, but it is still the fault of the person who wasn't paying attention when their actions cause a collision.
Turn off your speakers and imagine that a small part of the screen down the middle isn't there. Your brain should be doing this automatically. Keep trying until you get "it". Oh and if you didn't notice, the Camaro winds up standing up against a pole.
@@strobe9 "small part" he could have just put in the right side footage and called it a day. Either way its a shitty camera and should be upgraded. The higher the detail the more evidence you have for insurance/court. And your right,if you dont like the music mute the shit.
Wait....hold on...what...how did he manage that? Of all the car accidents I have seen, never before has THIS ever been thought possible. That's talent right there.
I've heard of this very thing happening and I bet 9x out of 10 the car flips over and usually with injuries maybe even death. That is extraordinarily good luck it balanced perfectly like that. That's a hell of a recovery job without destroying the car. Definitely taking your life into your hands trying to get out of it. The safest (yet most humiliating) thing is to buckle up tight and wait for help. Meanwhile expect the dirt to shift and you're going over anyway, at any second.
I have seen it once (after the fact, not as it happened) I was stationed at Ft. Bragg and some troop with more money than sense had just purchased his Korean "war bride" a brand new sports car, she had been leaving the club on post (sans hubby) and had lost control of the car and drove it up a pine tree, loblolly, I think. Good times😎
Been driving a readymix concrete truck for 27 years. Been dealing with idiots like that most of my career. Glad it happened to him and even happier the mutts idiocy didn’t involve anyone innocent. Thanks for posting. 👍👍
lol isn't that copyright infringement??? 😂😂😂 or company promoting??😂😂😂😂 who knows???!!? wel anyways funny video I've seen plenty of wannabe racers hit the 15 mph corner I live RIGHT by 😂😂😂😂😂 PLENTY
Ryan Plethra you our also incorrect it's not for lightning and the term you our looking for is called a "static line" there you both been corrected the line in ?is called a down guy wire for a dead end structure it there to hold the extra waight of the wire from all the other structures.
Ryan Plethra there isn't much to debate, these are 2 separate functions, one is a mechanical function for holding the pole in place against the load of the heavy copper wires strung between the poles, this forms a triangle with the pole and the ground. the ground strap follows the pole to the ground and is firmly bolted to a steel rod that is driven several feet into the ground. it has no tension or structural function.
@@Dizzaddy I just noticed your comment... Did you bother to see the title of the video? Obviously not because if you did, you would know why I said "literally". I thought the title was a hyperbole, but it turns out it was literal. Just because people overuse or misuse the word "literally", doesn't mean it can't be used properly.
I was driving in my neighborhood, about 2 years ago, and someone did something similar to this. There was a house on the corner that had a rock garden, with 3 or 4 big boulders, and behind the boulders was a big, thick, tree. This person lost control, hit one of the boulders, and the front end jumped up and propped itself up the tree. Looked pretty much like Camaro man.
@ The Narrator: I thought the same thing as you, "out of nowhere" if not for his earlier driving skills he'd have been eating a citation for failure to yield, no way that driver looked again, then again still. I feel like had that camaro driver not gotten agitated with having to avoid hitting his no driving butt, he'd have probably never climbed that tree, well not this particular time anyway
Thought the same and a bit later, "he almost hits a pickup truck". The truck pulled out in front of him crossing 4 lanes of traffic making a left hand turn. I agree the Camaro was driving poorly, but the narration made the channel look stupid. Well that and the bad quality video with split screen.
Sure, the moral of the story is that the accelerator does not work when the drive wheels are off the ground. Better to let other people teach you this lesson than learn it yourself.
He didn't and that's the worst thing he could have NOT done! Theee worst thing, you hear that video guy? It's a standard procedure to point an laugh(ha huu) at other people's misfortune! Specifically for stuff like this.
As an 11 year old, driving to grandmas with mom on the back roads between NY and CT, a car started blaring their horn behind us. Mom moved to the side and a big Chrysler convertible driven by a woman screamed by blasting that horn. About 45 minutes down the road, as my mom drove around a corner, we were stopped by a NYSLEO. When we were allowed to continue, we saw that Chrysler driver had taken the corner at too high of speed, flipped the car over and the Chrysler had slid up the telephone pole support wire just like this Camaro. Unfortunately, her body was in the ditch and her head was in the middle of a travel lane. Both were covered, but I'll never forget that lesson on speeding.
Thank God for dash cams. A boon to professional drivers, traffic courts, insurance companies and those of us who are not being served adequately by the entertainment industry. These videos are a great teaching tool for parents, btw. Thanks for posting !
Even if I deliberately tried to end up like that, I seriously doubt I could. I've heard of people dying from the exact same thing, they pull up on the wire and then the car flips over and they get crushed. So if you ever get stuck like that - don't move, just wait for help.
I would've pulled over, grabbed my phone, walked outside his window but far enough in case the car drops, & I would've searched for Curb Your Enthusiasm theme on YT, played it at highest volume while looking at his face & then left
In Missoula,Montana an old guy was driving a 79 Ford Ltd. His tie rod broke and the car went up the guide line for the telephone pole. Me and one of my cousins helped him and his 2 grandkids out of the car. One kid somehow split his eyebrow but mostly everybody was ok.
Also, he may have honked at and it certainly looks like he chased the Camaro. This is just a another case of clever editing. The other guy is a jerk, to be sure, but a case could be made that he was trying to shake a tail, here.
It’s likely that he glanced, enough to see the car, but didn’t look properly to see it has moving so fast. Had the camaro been moving at the speed limit, he probably would’ve had space. Still a dumb move on OP’s part, but he’s not entirely to blame.
Lol yea there were a few passive aggressive judgements from this cammer, but they're all self important, self entitled snot jockie's anyway. I have a camera. I don't have to give an inch, you touched me, you're on camera, wahhhhh
Or ya know, it says in the description that it the poster doesn't own the video, so they're the ones including that information in the video. Either way, you're kind of a tard.
@@muircat13 judging by the level of "butthurt-ness" all these guys seem to have towards the guy who posted this video I'm guessing this must be the small section of D-Bags that do obnoxious, D-Baggy stuff in their big-manly, muscle cars that pops up on every video like this, lol. I always look for these little comment-cliques to troll...
Oh and "Then he almost hits this guy pulling out of a parking lot"...durrr....like people in parking lots have the right of way over a vehicle on a public street?
I think they both turned into the same lane. Camero was on opposite side of the street and turned left and pick up turned right. That’s my guess anyway he just saw no one behind the car that passed before the camero.
Reminds of Mustang tailgating me to red light off freeway Light turned green and he spun out into guard rail trying to go fast New shiny became tangled metal
Ok I thought the title was a typo but hell no this dude drives a Camaro UP a pole not through, not into, UP ....this is the most accurate RU-vid title I have ever read.
This driver (the red truck with dash cam) drives pretty aggressively, to be fair. There was no need to pull out that fast behind the Camaro and speed up just to tailgate him. No wonder the Camaro brake checked him. But the Camaro driver definitely takes the cake for "stupid."
And the prick with the dashcam was following too closely. And he apparently didn't look for cross traffic either (which doesn't really appear "out of nowhere").
This is one of those instances you stop, roll down your window and ask "Hey are you hurt?" "No? Good now I don't feel bad about this next part." Then laugh and drive away.
Exact same thoughts. Whoever is behind the dashcam clearly has some driving problems of their own, but that whole pole dance move thing was impressive.
marvin martin Seeing as he (the camaro driver) probably has an IQ of 7... Just smart enough to stop at a Red light but dumb enough to be an "I'm the best thing going" kind of guy.
+Merendo Bereglidditz : Uploading the video and allowing folks like you to point and laugh is far safer in today's world, and probably 100% more satisfying.
"I think it's funny that all showoffs with rear wheel drive cars don't even know how to drive them." An Array Of Dicks - They sure don't. They need to have a special course on them if ass jockies like this douchebag insist on driving a vehicle they have no business getting into. I'm just glad he didn't fuck anyone elses car up doing that little fuckstick stunt of his.
This reminds me of an accident I witnessed in the mid ninties... A toyota truck attempted to beat traffic across US26 in Sandy Oregon, he was hit on the Rt rear of the box, the truck twisted up on the tailgate like a spinning top & ended up against a huge oak tree, nose up... The driver exited & fell out, followed by a short rack of Budweiser empties. Wish I had a dashcam, but they weren't around then... It was insane.
@@kimminer7341 Wow. That's a weird auto-correct. If I'd typed that unintentionally, it would have corrected, so that's weird. And your comment should probably read, "So is your spelling", because contunies isn't English. It's (if I'm not mistaken) archaic Catalan.
Probably a cheap dash board mounted camera. Doesn't have to be perfect, just enough to see what happened. Though a little better would probably be appreciated... would take up more memory space though.
***** Better quality video requires more storage capacity. Cheaper products often come with very little internal memory, though that could be remedied with some shopping if getting better memory falls within the person's budget and the device in question is even capable of memory expansion.
