Finally a video for a nice sounding exhaust coming out of a v6 Camaro.Gonna do a muffler delete and x pipe on my 2013 RS.I’m doing it because a Camaro shouldn’t be quiet. It should sound loud.
I have a 2078 Lamborghini aventador, who cares what you have just ask what he put on his car. Guys be slick hating, your car is dope and very unique. Expect haters when your shit on point!
Sounds bad AF!!! Love my 14 RS too bro!! Did you delete the resonators? I ordered an x pipe and quad tips. I have a ZL1 diffuser that I can run the quad tips. Thanks for the video Bro!
Kind funny, I've looked at so many videos of V6 Camaro exhaust with different mufflers because I've been thinking about swapping a GM 3.6 into my '85 Fiero. Turns out I should have been looking for no muffler videos lol. I like the sound of the stock exhaust and 2.8V6 in the Fiero but I want it to be little louder and I'm not gonna waste money on rebuilding and/or upgrading the 2.8 when I can drop a modern 3.6 and gain 160hp at the crank, and have a lighter engine. Then if I want I can start doing bolt ons and a tune if I want more. But I think 300hp at the crank is a good number for a fun daily driver considering the Fiero only weights 2,700lbs compared to 3,300lb+ most cars the current GM 3.6 pushes around.
Those looking to upgrade the exhaust on their 6 cylinder: it’s rather silly as it doesn’t do much for you or the car.. that being said make sure you’re running the best oil, Lucas oil treatment, coolant treatments, gas treatments, 91 if your car can take it, an intake, and Dunlop or pirelli tires. These mods have way more benefits and you will feel the difference in smoother shifting, lower oil temps, and better throttle response.
Devin Jenkins I’ve never owned a car I’ve always had suvs... but this camaro kind of fell in my lap... it’s just too good of a deal to pass on, it’s been babied. 37 k miles 2015 ls, yeah it’s just the base model but I’ll have it payed off in two years..... then I may upgrade to a 6gen RS or something, I prefer better gas mileage. My question is if I start off getting an air intake what model should I get and how much should I spend on that? Also, does the car require tuning to adapt to that air intake? And how much would that cost? -Trey
Bible Digger not sure on the kit for your car but a k&n makes a solid air intake filter maybe $300. You will not need a tune. But you could always take it to a dyno and play with the factory setting
You should worry about power, good air induction system, nice sticky tires. It’s a v6 might as well make it perform good as opposed to sounding like my sports bike lol
So you deleted the muffler. Did you also delete the resonator and swap it with an xpipe? Or did you leave resonators and swapped the hpipe with an x pipe?
Not a fan of the zl1 badges and I have “LS” badges on the rear and wheel (still looking for a front badge) but that looks and sounds amazing. How much did all of that cost you?
@@jjcamps yo bro but has any service lights tuned on your car, its a newer car so doesent manipulating the exhaust system mess with the computer?? Ud think it would.throw the cars sensors off. Causing problems down the line. ?? Has that happened?? Is your car ok no service lights turned on?
Hey bro car sounds great, do you get any pops at all? I have muffler delete on my 2013 RS and it pops once in a while do you know if I add the X pipe it should increase the popping?
Aaron Zubia keep the stock H-pipe bruh. Idk why people love X-pipes, they’re garbage. H-pipes gives your car a more muscle car tone while an X-pipe gives it a more exotic car tone. And if you want it to pop more just put it in sports mode , drop down to first or second gear and push and let go of the peddle. It should pop. But if you have a manual then I guess it should already do that
I did the same thing with my 2013 2ls Camaro it’s sounds cool I’m thinking about if I should add a new down pipe and delete the cats or not what you think ? 🤔
Love the sound you should do some performance work tho thing is slowwwww no hate tho I have the same car I hated it stock after the overkill set up it’s a whole different car
I have a black on black 2011 LS 6pd...Know of any good looking side skirts for it? Nothing too outlandish, i like to keep things simple but add that flair to it...
So I have quad tips and a dual muffler on 2015 camaro... tell me why they tried charging me 250 on each side and then another tried charging me about 1200 dollars lord have mercy
Damn brother just some places charge more but always negotiate and you can always find somewhere cheaper if it’s just to install the mufflers and dual quad tips shouldn’t be more then 200 for everything in my opinion
Hey man I got a v6 camaro and I been wanting the double side exhausts what are they called to they have a name idk if u get me but u know how they come with 1 on each side and u got 2 on each side where can I get these bro and what are they called ?? Please reply
JJ Camps I’ve got a v6 Camaro and I want to do this exact setup to mine. What all do you have done? Just a muffler delete and an x pipe or did you delete like the resonator too? Just wondering so I know when I go get it done!!!
JJ Camps these cars come with a H-Pipe before the resonators. Did you replace the H-pipe with the X-pipe. And then replace the resonators with regular pipe or did you leave the Stock H-pipe in and replace the two resonators with the X-Pipe. In other words do you have the factory H-pipe and the X-pipe on there? Because you made no mention of stock H-pipe at all
Hey, I’m looking at getting the exact same rear spoiler. Ive already purchased the z28 spoiler, but is your zl1 add on a Z28 wicker bill or a blade wicker bill? Thanks!
So the man has his car done how ever her wants it, so what? It's not hurting nobody. No, what we really need to be discussing is WHY TF MY MAN BE WEARING SOCKS WIT DEM SANDALS FAM?!?!?!?!?!
I’m sorry brother it just won’t happen. F1 cars are v6 twin turbo and they are still high pitched as hell. Try an intake, top of the line oil, Lucas oil treatment, b12 gas treatment, and Dunlop or pirelli tires. then worry about an exhaust I promise this is a better option you will feel a huge difference in throttle response smoother shifts and the engine running better which means faster. Good luck
JJ Camps sorry if im bother but i fw your camaro it would if you can make a video on how to cut the diffuser to make them fit it would be great im just dumb asf
rafael gonzalez I did record one mad long ago but footage was lost haha but it’s easy bro just measure the size tips you got and literally get any drill or tool that cuts plastic and cut around the already existing hole and just make it bigger so it can fit if u need anything else bro shoot me a dm on ig @jjcamps_ And I appreciate it brother 🔥
@@jjcamps hey bro, im working on my set up right now, is this a resonated x - pipe? i currently am running an ? H pipe but i love the Growl you have on your set up and am trying to replicate that Growl as mine sounds more Droney.
