I’ve never seen this before on another v6 love how you’re doing things differently on my 2010 v6 I have catless LTH and a muffler delete but I might just have to do some mid pipe modifications keep up the content you got a new sub from me!
Thanks Chris! I appreciate the support. It sounds much better in person. I got some more stuff coming soon. Hopefully something that will make it a little deeper. Everything is on hold for now with the virus and all but I will still push some content out. I got a picture in mind for where my build should be at by the end of this season so stay tuned.
I got a 15 and I bought a 2.5 in back SS system for 50 bucks with GM performance mufflers and had my x pipe put on for 65 bucks. Tomorrow I’m getting my secondary cats deleted and 12 inch vibrant resonators put on to cut down on drone while keeping everything the same noise level or higher.
The smile on your face! 😁 You could tell you were happy with the X-pipe before you told us. Also, regardless what others pay, if you’re happy with what you got for your money that’s all that matters. I noticed your exhaust is different from the ‘15 exhaust. My resonators are where your new x-pipe is, and it looks like a box. Nice video and keep it up, you’re inspiring a lot of us!
do the v2 trust me it sounds great, not to mention ive noticed once the car is warmed up fully there is virtually no rasp and it is a very deep tone. ive had mine on for about 3 months now and i love it but am also thinking of adding an x-pipe just worried because supposedly and x pipe is higher pitched than an h pipe.
If it wasn't for the gear I would say you're driving my car, same internal colorways and same exhaust mod! and now i'm thinking of adding some lame valves cuz the police are giving me shit
I never have been bothered by the cops. But it may be different here in Wisconsin. But our cars looking alike will change cause I got a lot of other stuff coming in. But it's a pretty color.
Mister Manage I live in Dubai and it's the most ridiculous fine you could since the city is literally filled with aventadors and loud hypercars and they're all jumping on my v6s ass, last fine was like $800 plus 12 black points plus the car was taken for a month 🤦🏼♂️
@@LilDark OMG dude that is insane! Idk how the point system is out there but damn! Dubai has ridiculous cars. I heard there are a lot of abandon hyper cars in the dessert out there?
secondary cat delete and straight pipe it back its louf af and sounds good af trust me my videos are the secondary cat delete with an x pipe and the tone was too high pitched
I'm planning on doing it to my camaro. It's the exact same. I'll get the muffler and resonator removed but I noticed you didn't remove post converter. How come?
hey bro, im catless with a resonated x pipe and flowmaster mufflers. no resonators or secondary cats as well. i wanna cut my mufflers off. how do you think it would sound
I Got a resonator delete AND REPLACED THE H-pipe with an x-pipe but I ended up getting some Magnaflow mufflers. May go muffler delete in the future as well.
What's the tone with you downshift? My 2016 with Borla Pro XS mufflers and stock everything else sounds good except I need something more during downshifting.
Hey man! That exhaust is beast! After watching I know now what to do next on my 12 1LT. Quick question? What diameter did you buy for the pipe? Looks like the stock pipe is around 2.25/2.5 so I'm not sure of what to get?
I don't know what your exhaust size is. I would assume it's like the 5th Gen Camaros in which case your exhaust would be 2.5 inches from head to factory H-pipe and 2.25 the rest of the way. Buy a X Pipe that is either 2.5 inches or 2.25 inches. The shop will adjust the rest. Either size you buy, one end will need a coupling but the shop will do that.
@@BlackPanther1SS I can't see them not working the same as long as the quality is good and no leaks. As far as sounding the same, I have no idea. Everyone's car is different.
@@BlackPanther1SS x pipes all sound alike. The x pipe produces a high pitch and the h pipe produces a low pitch. There are also differences in the way they affect torque and horsepower. H pipe more torque at lower range of the power ban and low pitch exhaust. X pipe more horsepower at top of power ban and high pitch. Listen to his car accelerate, the rastpy high at the high rpm is cause by the x pipe. Hope this helps you out.
I Like it but as far as recommend, that's up to you. I just put out content that I like and show it to give people a idea. At the end of the day, I don't want to be responsible for saying what is good or bad. This is what I LIKE. To each, its own.
@@mistermanage1119 damm okay cause I just order my x pipe and I’m gonna do a resonator delete and also muffler delete but it’s gonna be the mbrp axel back set up but I think I’m get 2.5 inch pipes since I’m getting a 2.5 inch x pipe
I have the same setup except i have after market resonated tips, i can second that the drone ain't bad. I thought it would sound stupid loud and annoying on the highway in regards to drone but its relatively quiet compared to how i thought it would sound (which is good cause im usually on the highway for hours) but it sounds badass in the city especially when you're accelerating. At 3000-5000 rpms it sounds loud and great but i think it sounds most aggressive and deep when accelerating between 2000-3000rpms.
I can care less about gas mileage and the difference I'm sure would not be that big. So unfortunately I don't know because I don't pay attention to it.
I have MRT V2 Axleback exhaust and want to get the JPEGS resonator and H pipe delete X pipe. (Looks like what yours is) would it sound good with my mrt axleback ?or would it sound like a fart can?
It's not as bad as it was. But after I changed my throttle body, it came back a little. It idles like a beast though. Also I'm hoping my tune will change it.
So I have already deleted the forward resonators, which I think some people also call the secondary cats, and a muff delete with x-pipe replacing the OEM h-pipe. If I wanted to gut the cats is that guaranteed to cause the O2 sensors to throw codes?
You have two cats on the camaros. One O2 sensor is before the first cat and the second O2 sensor is after the first cat followed by the SECOND cat. That is not a forward resonator. Your resonators are after your H/X pipe. If you gut them, yes you will have a code because both those sensors will read the same thing. The whole point of 2 sensors is for the second sensor to detect a different number from the first so it knows the cat is working. Therefore, if you gut them, both sensors will read the same thing cause there is nothing filtering the exhaust. The only way to not get a code is to have them tuned out. I hope that makes sense. Let me know if you have any other questions.
I can't really pinpoint it. I got my muffler delete for like 275 but got ripped off apparently(you can get it much cheaper). And I paid 350 for my resonator delete with an X-pipe install and a weld in bung put in. It was not just a resonator delete. So you may wanna do some research to see what people around you will charge. It's not the same across the board. Hope that helps.
