About the Video:
In this Video, I am going to show you the process of availing Visa on Arrival for Cambodia.
I travelled to this beautiful in 2023 and availed Visa On Arrival.
Since there is no Direct flight from India, I travelled to Bangkok Thailand from where I took my next flight of "Thai Smile" to Siem Reap.
I have noted down the process below:
1. Check in at Bangkok Airport
2. Show your Passport & Return or onward flight tickets
3. Airlines will ask you how much cash you are carrying. A minimum of $1000 USD is recommended to avoid any confusion
4. After clearing the security & immigration board your flight
5. Flight duration from Bangkok to Siem Reap - 1 hour 20 mins
6. Upon arrival at the Siem Reap Airport (Ankor International Airport), proceed to the immigration area
7. There are 2 sections :
8.Section 1 for passengers who already have a prior visa (e-visa or sticker visa) - They need to proceed directly to immigration counter for biometrics
9- Section 2 for Visa on Arrival - Show passport & pay $30 USD. The officers will check the visa eligibility based on your nationality & put a sticker Visa on Arrival
10. After getting your sticker Visa on Arrival, proceed to the immigration counter for Biometrics (finger scanning). The officer will put the entry stamp and you are ready to enter Cambodia
*A drive from the "Ankor International Airport" to City center takes about 1 hour, hence please come prepared.
** As on today, all International Flight operations have shifted to this new "Ankok International Airport"
