Here is my review of the Cambridge Pitt Minion ESV translation in brown Goatskin! This is a great portable Bible for anyone who enjoys the ESV translation! You can pick up yours here at: www.amazon.com...
I just watched a video of the NIV Pitt Minion in brown goatskin. He paid significantly more for his. Sounds like you got a great deal. I'm always looking for different and interesting Bibles to buy. Every time I get one my wife says "Don't you have enough Bibles?" My go to response is always "How many pairs of shoes do you have?" Thanks for the video.
@@bendirkss hey Ben, hoping this helps. I have both, and they’re great bibles. The Pitt is still very readable imo despite having horrible vision. The PSQ is insanely well made, one of the best in terms of small bibles and thin paper, but it’s thick. Just as thick as a Cambridge wide margin. It doesn’t have as many words per line, either, making the reading experience feel really broken up. The references are easy to get lost in, too, since both columns have their references in one cluttered grouping at the bottom of the page. Not so fun to try to use, especially in the NT. The utility and form factor of the Pitt is so easy to get used to. I’ve never been a double column or center column reference guy, but I’m so in love with the Pitt. Especially with the awesome paper from the wide margin aquila to go with it, I think the pairing is absolutely stellar. The Pitt, diadem, and wide margin are just so much easier to use functionally, easier to carry, really great Lexicon font, and (even though I hate red letter) some of the best red letter I’ve seen in a bible.
