Any day on a bike is a great day, but this one was even better than most. A combination of perfect trail, perfect weather and beautiful views made for the kind of ride that makes you think, 'boy I'm glad I started cycling.
I am a former ultra marathon runner and cardiac arrest survivor who is seeking fitness through cycling.

I shall probably come back then. I love the trails in the fall. Check out my fall ride on the Caledon Trailway video, that has some really nice fall colours.

Thank you for this video...never did this trail before and plan to this Saturday. Just got back from cycling all the trails in the Montreal area for 5 days. Was so humid. I look forward to seeing Cambridge/Galt to Paris/Brantford and into Hamilton. If i still have enough energy once i get into Hamilton i may go on to Burlington then get back on the bus to take me home. These You Tube videos really inspire

Nice video, I have done that trail a few times. Note for anyone reading that the trail does go down to Brantford and beyond so if you want more distance the skies the limit from Cambridge.

Thank you Bob. I had intended to take it to Port Dover , this past week, but decided to do the Simcoe County Loop Trail instead. I DEFINITELY will be doing (and filming) a much longer ride, taking in those trails, next year.

Great video! This trail, is too busy on week ends. Always stop at the Murray Lookout,,,stunning scenery there, nice touch..the guy fly fishing. I feel, exactly the same way about cycling as you do. If you like rail trails, try the Heritage trail from Waterford to Port Dover. Very scenic and mostly coveered by shade. Come on summer!

You inspired me to ride this trail, only I went from Paris to Cambridge and back on Monday the 6th (Labour Day). What a good scenic ride it was, perfect weather and boy were there a lot of people riding. It should be even nicer when the fall colours start, can't wait.

Absolutely it will Sandy. It is a very well maintained, smooth trail. Take a tiny bit of air out of your tires (not too much) as it will be more comfortable on a non asphalt surface. I hope you get the chance to watch some of my other trail videos too. Let me know how you get on.
