I got my MA degree years ago and I'm nowhere near the academic life at the moment, but your vlogs make me so nostalgic! And they seem to boost my productivity as I'm a full-time freelancer now and really struggle with procrastination :D
I've been watching these with my 14 year old son and have found them really good for inspiring him as he begins his 3rd year at high school towards what university life is like and what he can aspire to.

I’m so fascinated by supervisions and how you get to do that. It’s such a cool concept! I wish all colleges did that. 🤓

Hello and to answer your question Cambridge is quite cheap compared to Oxford at I believe to be £9250 (€10760 per year for UK/EU undergraduates.) £19,197-£30,678 (~US$25,420- 40,620) per year for non-EU undergraduates (excluding medicine) commencing studies in 2019. Varying fees for postgraduate degrees (see below)

I'm in a bad mood and I was going to comment hate but I realised I should spread positivity. Can anyone give any tips on academic achievement whilst maintaining good mental health?
Hugo Clarke a round of applause to you! And I'm sort of having a similar problem. I'm having a hard time at school with a lot of people and and it's causing my mental health to get even worse. My grades are plummeting, obviously because I don't do any work at all except homeworks (and even then I've already handed quite a few late and I've only been at sixth form for a month and a half). When things were less bad in the summer I planned to make flash cards as I go along but forget flash cards I barely even listen in the lessons and so I'm really lost. Pretty sure all my teachers are wondering how the hell I got good grades at gcse for the subject but I'm absolutely clueless now. They probably think I cheated or something, I'm not that clever I just did a LOT of hard work for my GCSEs and now that I'm not doing any work I'm just reallly behind and confused and dumb basically. My parents are going to be so disappointed in me, silly them for thinking I'll ever be successful. Sorry I don't know why I'm telling you this, but anyway um get help or something?
build a habit of slowly utilising revision your day to day activities. what I mean like firstly do one thing a day that helps towards your a level even if its f=just reading one page out of your text book, trust me I feel like its just the season (if you do psychology you'd know this) people are less inclined to study during the winter season because now I feel more inspired to do work (also through Gretchen rubin habit identifier do the quiz!) also check out my the student room thread (my username is MO49) which would help in motivation bc its too long to say on here! Lets see if in week 5 your still rowing, ballroom dancing and all that extra stuff. Cambridge workload is not normal lol. I wouldnt even attempt to waste that much time and im at lowly Uni of Nottingham. (In comparison) to Cambridge lol
I really want to go to a good uni as i got very good results for GCSEs and I hopefully wont be distracted by people who exist to "have fun" and fail everything and ruining all my learning ;-;
