Cameo had some massive hits but besides "Word Up" and "Candy"...mainstream success eluded them ...they were too funky for the mainstream but they were truly a band rather than a group created by a studio!

Cameo as a whole really played this song beautifully as Professional Musicians. THIS is what REAL music looks and sounds like. Aaron Mills can start & finish a song for you; he/they haven't lost a THING after 40 years. Love these guys for life!! Thank You, Cameo for the music and the memories. 💙

@@kkhendricks73 I meant exactly what I said. If the drummer and the bassist don't start/do the INTRO to a song, the Lead singer and/or background cannot begin to sing the songs. Watch it again. My props go out to the entire band, as they all have to play together, but drummers and bassists cue a song to start, unless the material is written for vocals FIRST.

You do know that that is not Larry Blackman singing, correct? That is actually Anthony Lockett who always sung the lead on this song.

The last time I saw Cameo live was about 20 years ago. Larry did not play drums at all. As a side note, I’ve never seen Morris Day or Jeffrey Osborne play drums with their bands.
