Look all the way to the right above the tree, you can see it fall the same time you hear it, it only takes a few moments before large plumes of smoke is found shot straight up into the air.

Why do you need blood, gore and twisted metal? Just watching from a distance how that copter came down, knowing that no one walked away from that crash, made my heart catch in my chest. People just died and you're not happy because you didn't see the blood and gore? Unfucking believable.
This is my subdivision in Harvest AL. I was going to pick my daughter up from school when I heard the helicopter go over my car, and I looked to my left just in time to see it pass over the trees and into the field nearby. The noise was awful, and I knew even before I saw the smoke that it had crashed. It was a horrible sight.
If you complained about the quality of the video or you feel that you have been taken advantage of by big video label INC, you should check yourself. You want to see a better video of a flight crew dealing with their inevitable demise. It's truly a horrible fait. What is disturbing is that so many people aren't disturbed by tragic loss of life but rather feel cheated by image quality and title . May the crew RIP.

That neighborhood looks Orwellian and depressing. No wonder people are so pitiful and gray! If you lived there it wouldn't be called living, it would be more like storing your body in the box you call a house and waiting to be used the next day for labor that amounts to nothing in the grand scheme. If this is "progress" it is progressing into monochromatic dystopia.
It’s winter in Alabama, hence all the brown, and it’s a relatively new neighborhood, so any trees put in by the owners won’t be very mature yet. I live in the area and the biggest issue with these neighborhoods is they’re often effectively little islands. A farmer will sell part of his land and the houses are built on it. This could a short walk from town or it could be just a random strip of land in the middle of nowhere.
This is crazy. Helicopters are always hovering around my street in circles, last time was 2 days ago they were hovering for like 5 minutes straight. I dont even know why but happens a lot and after seeing this. I pray this never happens to us.
the sound makes it seem like a helicopter is above the street and you expect to see a helicopter crash down to the street.....but it crashes down 20 miles away in the distance.
Honestly, this video doesn’t show much of anything, it just lets you hear the sound of a dying engine and then, the only reason I knew where to look for the smoke was cause another commenter pointed it out, but I don’t see it fall or nothing.
This happened on my way to work on highway 53 South towards Huntsville lil past harvest Alabama and was devastating and was late AF for work and detoured..sad loss for those patriots that day and was there when crashed and injured a few other drivers in front of it... God bless ameians the ones who protect us being from a military family both sides...
A warning for watching this? How sensitive do you think people are? It's not like there were soldiers screaming on fire coming out of the chopper or something.
I remember this day...one of the pilots was one of my squad members on my third deployment, we had a great time before we left, it was a great memory serving overseas with him. we will see each other again brother...R.I. P Daniel. :(
The helo crashed onto the median of a 4 lane highway - state hwy. 53 in Harvest, Alabama, just north of Huntsville. They were only about 15 miles from Redstone Arsenal, so a lot of Army aviation passes through this area. Rest in peace, soldiers.
I lived near a us major base. The helicopters would always fly so low. One day, I felt the a swish swish shake of my home getting harder and harder. Then it was constant. We get a knock on our door apologizing for using our back yard (an acre) for landing.
I had just started the 60 course when this happened, damn shame, the scariest thing to think about is that they had several moments to realize that the aircraft was unrecoverable before it was over
I think that specific aircraft even stopped at Cairns earlier that day if I’m not mistaken, I was in Common Core at the time so if that is true, I likely saw that aircrew just hours before and didn’t even know. Prayers out to their families, hoping for nothing but healing for them
@@austinm5618 yeah I heard that too, always keep your wits about you, even as a junior pilot your PC can kill you just as fast as you can. I had to speak up last night cuz we were 400 ft and descending when we should have been climbing, so don’t be afraid to speak up
