This is very well done. I was taught in reverse, so putting things in order and updating certain things helps alot. It also shows me the gaps I may have had in my previous editting. Thanks and keep up the good work. I wish there were a series of these right into photoshop through to the finished products. Great job!
OMFG Thank you so much. i was trying to put images that are RAW into photoshop and for some reason it didn't work and now that ya mentioned there is a plugin ya are a total lifesaver!!!
Thanks for this...I'm new to digital and it's still very much a futuristic science to me, but with tutorials of this quality, I am making some sense of it....I miss my Fuji Velvia though..............
Thanks for posting that man. I always wanted to learn to work with RAW but I couldn't read books now I learned and I am going to make a poster out of my surfboard at venice thanks to you bro. Next time try to divide the video into sections like with 5 seconds break between each theme. Greetings from Brazil. Greetings from Brazil.
@emilwesterlund pls elaborate..what brand of camera and editing software are you using? as far as i know, lightroom and adobe camera raw can read the raw files from both canon and nikon..so there shouldn't be any problem if you're using any of these softwares...or may you just forgot to format the card in you camera..check it..
@REQUIERED You probably need to go back to the Adobe website and download the most recent Adobe Camera Raw file. if that doesn't work, your camera isn't supported yet. See 1:30
when I try and open a picture I get a gray box with a bunch of lines instead of the picture and when I open bridge I dont see the picture. I get the file name. And when I double click the camera raw picture I get an error saying Photoshop does not recognize this type of file. Plus I cant export it as a jpeg
This video is about 10 minutes longer than it needs to be, heh. If you're looking for more, Lynda.com CS5 tutorials are phenomenal (it includes several chapters of Bridge/Camera Raw usage).
Hey, do you know "photo SFX art" (do a Google search for it)? There you will find a smart free video showing the way to create amazing photos. It made it easier for Joe to shoot photos that have a jaw-dropping-effect while you take a look at them. Perhaps it will help you as well.
I wnet to some adobe conference with my dad and they gave out free cs3 photo shop extended (xD). Problem is i dont know how to use it (or at least not that well) so it was use less. So thanks for the tutorial. =/
hey Cheezor1, guess what? camera raw camera raw camera raw camera raw camera raw haha...I reckon we should add to the guiness book of records for who can say CAMERA RAW the most in 24:55 min!!!
I appreciate the effort, honestly, but you might want to use an outline. A lot of rambling here and while you were off on a tangent I was drawn to the other videos over on the right column and now I'm gone. People want the info in a straightforward manner that moves along. Sorry.
Thanks for the video, but you should simplify jst a little and less talking, I started to fall asleep after a while lol .. Thank you did learn a little though.
