I'm nearing the end of this and it feels like i took a bad turn after the rearranging bracket shortcut came into play, I had invisible layers from the beginning that completely got overlooked too, feeling a little lost but I got pretty far, learned a bunch!
you are the absolute best when it comes to learning how to create this kind of art. I have been looking forever for someone who describes the process, the do's and the don'ts, as perfectly as you. You are practically a teacher for all of us first timers, so please keep doing what you are doing. I first learned about this kind of art when I just randomly came across the channel Benny Productions. I thought the art was so awesome, really wanted to learn how to do it, but he admits he will not produce tutorials because there are already tons of videos out there that are just that. I agree with some of the people on here, you definitely need to be added to the Masterclass website, for graphic design instruction.
Very good tut, however any softening of the sun shadow is caused by diffusion by the clouds - the sun sun itself is effectively a point source with hard edges.
Please someone help me I am not able to use the scatter brush for stars 19:46 ... Its showing stroke on the fill tab although I am choosing white again and again 19:46
This effect looks great on moonlight in reflective water, and on time laps deforming moving clouds, also on waves with a shorter amount of frames. Just remember to have the camera be steady, or it will look like a trippy walk through the scenery, unless that is the effect that you are going for, also this effect looks cool on slow motion falling rain, especially near a lamp post, where you can see the rain drops fall like long streaks, it might actually also look great on slow motion snow.
I don't see any sence in cutting the first clip in half. You'll get the same effect if you copy it, put them together and apply cross dissolve. Also, when you apply cross dissolve and it sticks to one of the sides, click it and in it's options check apply to both sides or in the middle between the parts or two clips. Forgot how it's called in Pr Pro exactly, as I am a DaVinci guy now.
