Yes but remember this, samsung offert 7 years of software update vs 4 of one plus, that is a point to have in mind. If you change your smartphones every 3 or 4 years one plus is for you but if you want to use a smartphone for 10 years maybe you should get samsung.

These companies know how long their batteries will last .Usually, within 2 to 3 years, the battery performance dwindles considerably As the other people have already said, very few people are going to keep a phone that long. That's a gimmick

Because OnePlus 12 can make 120x max and both are at max. To be honest I can't see any difference between 100 and 120. And keep in mind I will never be able to please everyone 👍
S24 ultra is so good at taking photos. Much more detail. But oneplus is pretty good considering the lower price. I ordered a oneplus 12 for 1100$ ( 512 gb, buds and 100$ card ) here and the s24 ultra cost is 1400$ for base model ...
What is premium category? A stylus that a minuscule number of people use, a slightly better camera system (subjective) , much slower charging (extra charge for a measly 25w adaptor) and double the price tag ? Lol, no thank you P.S: Don't even get started on AI gimmicks
@@Hari-kx2er the battery is the only advantage, I am NOT a samsung ambassador, but I had all phones in the past, personaly, build quality, better camera, updates, and being pioneer of innovation even beating Apple are some strong hold of Samsung. I am not saying AI is perfect but it could only get better, other phones seem to play catchup with Samsung. Samsung do give better trade in offer and give some discount including ear buds and wearables!

Samsung do make some good premium phones and so does many other brands, but nothing that warrants the exorbitant cost of a phone like S24 Ultra. For minuscule use cases and minor improvements (subjective), they demand an unjustifiable premium while being equal or lagging behind smartphones priced much less in many key aspects like display, battery, build quality etc. Also, spare me the absurd innovation rhetoric (it makes me laugh). Samsung has a throw everything at the wall and see which sticks policy which is not exactly innovation. One true innovative smartphone company was LG and that innovation along with some of their own flaws caused their downfall.

I think you are having trouble understanding a Toyota vs an Audi, Toyota might be economical but the brand value and the new innovation are looked at differently for clients. If these are highly priced I want you to take a look at who is the market leader globally in market share🤣 you can't be the only smartest person on earth! Do you know what happened to Huawei in Canada, Uk, Australia and Canada? They were banned, only allowed in countries like poor India and other poor countries because those people don't even know their data is being stolen!
OnePlus is coming pretty but isn't quite there yet. I only wonder why it's not being compared to the Samsung Galaxy s24 plus which is closer to its price point
@@nicktayloriv310 i guess i wasn't clear. From what I can gather, 12 is comparable to 24 ultra in performance (at roughly 60% of price) and is significantly better than 24+, despite being similar in price.
I think theres one thing we can.all agree on. you dont need a thousand dollar phone to scroll social media, take video calls and the occasional pictures or selfie heck my Mi 11 ultra and Note20u from 2021 can do 90 % of what any 2024 flagship can do. so the question is ,is that 10% difference worth the ridiculous price? If you have a flagship device released in the last 4 years imo theres no need to upgrade yet unless money is no object and you wanna flex.. btw im a Samsung fan but damn Oneplus is the better value 😅
