17 years later and I'm trying to fix my broken samsung digimax s500

I bought this camera today at an estate sale, I can turn it on but it turns off like 5 seconds later. What’s the deal?

Simple, you just go to the video in playback mode and hit the macro switch (has play/pause next to it). Exporting: either you use the SD card or the USB cable.

Ok so how long do I have to charge it for

Hmm... So you've gotten so far that you're able to view your photos and stills of what are supposed to be videos? Well, simply press the 'Macro' button (it's the lowest button on the camera). To pause, press again. :) Self timer: the self timer button on the lower right of the camera. There you should see a button with something of a clock on it. Press to put the timermode on, press again for a longer time, press again for something. :P And press again to put the timer off. You're welcome! ;)
