I grew up in PHX, AZ and agree with Cameron about the food and culture of Mexico. Although I'm not Mexican, the culture is part of my culture--the language, the food, the community, and the love of family. When I moved to WA, many members of my church congregation spoke only Spanish. Although we could converse but little, they all knew that I loved and cherished them. They taught me a little Spanish; I taught them a lot of English. Not a day goes by without beans and salsa being part of my cuisine. Since I've never enjoyed meat, I'm more of a burrito gal. Anyway, thanks for this salute to this large part of my culture.
