AMEN I used to say that about Chuck and this one, bit the reality is they destroyed Chuck with the finale. It was the most fkng brutal kick in the nuts, F U to the fans I've ever seen So as much as I wanted it to continue, it would have sucked. But THIS one REALLY left on a cliff hanger. Things between John and Cameron were getting very real and that launch into the future could have been crazy. Wish these writers would tell us where they were going with it once they knew there's no chance in hell of it being revived. Sadly it appears season 3 was on the bubble till the very end.
To think they cancelled it to make way for Salvation and all the other shite that came after it..... that tired to do what TCC did best and first.... then it gets cancelled just at the future war. yeah typically that ... we even got the 600 rubber skin jobs..
Dayum. Aside from everything else fabulous about Summer..that cyborg walk? Sublime. ..She has the fierce look and walk of top models on the catwalk, at a fashion show. amazeballs, cooool.
might have needed some doublethink to explain how Cameron was looking older from year to year; with the setting initially in the high-school setting, she was passing off as John Connor's (challenged?) twin, and possibly would have to continue that role to explain why he wasn't hitting on her, so John would be regularly aging her features a tad?
I liked this terminator a lot more than the dark fate one. The series was good.. but they shut it down because they allegedly ran out of coin and there was not enough audience
Sadly the deep will always be frustrated by the mindless masses that just want trash, fake reality, shows. Shows with depth that take time to develop peole have no patience for.
I do not remember this. I am thinking it might be time to revisit this series. :D *EDIT: But then at the end I will just suffer the horrible realization it finishes without concolusion. :(
She proved many times over she was far more than a robot.. She had emotions.. The strongest one of course was her love for john... The second wizard jealousy
Compare to T-X, i rather choose that T-900 Terminator Summer glau, to protect, & to be as friends, not a worst enemies, like T-X, thats all it matters,😎
I wonder how difficult/annoying it was for her to switch to this much more masculine/mechanic style of walking, raising the knees much higher on each step than usual. Pretty cool that she did though.
Never saw a single ep but love Summer and Terminator. Just wasn't in the cards for me to watch this back then. I wonder if the effects and such would hold up to a 2023 viewing? I dont think Ive heard a bad thing about this show.
Is that suppose to be a bad thing or a good thing. Because it can really be either way. If she walks more natural she can be a better infiltrator and look more human in the show, But it can also cause issues with the audience believing she is suppose to be a robot in the first place. Summer( Cameroon's actress) does an amazing job at keeping her face emotionless and then suddenly and subtly showing emotion in the show to make it questionable for the terminator having feelings. However the walking could be a different issue
It is kinda annoying how T1 and T2 the terminators show absurd amounts of resilience, but TSCC does seem to make them get taken out so easily or fast. They don't want to have Cameron just be totally invincible and unstoppable, that would be kinda dumb. You'd think Terminators would be built to withstand electrocution.
This was a show that was played on Fox like 10 years ago. Picks up immediately after T2, ignoring all the other movies. But Fox being Fox, of course, canceled the show at the end of season 2. It was called, terminator: the sarah connor chronicles.
lewisner idk maybe it’s because the director what’s to indicate the robots POV. I mean it would be pretty hard to distinguish what a human is looking at vs a terminator.
Ok so you electrocute this terminator and it’s disabled completely for 20 seconds give or take. But if you do the same to a T-800 it just stuns it and maybe temporarily disables its optical systems but the motherfucker keeps on moving.....oh wait I get it shes not big tough and badass like Arnold
from the series: an electric shock will 'reboot' the cyborgs' robotic components for a while-but it depends on the plot convenience. Guess the Kaliba guy spent too much time talking and not enough time cutting. Kaliba is (SPOILER if you need it:) kind of like a 'precursor' company set up in the past that's 'parallel' to Cyberdyne. It appears to exist to ensure the creation of Skynet--and given it's tech, I'd say it may well have been set up by Skynet or by one of the endos sent into the past not just to kill John Conner but to prepare the ground.
