I am Jamaican. I met woman from Cameroon while working at this Hospital in America. I remember her having the most beautiful skin and a calm demeanor. I will always remember her.
My first visit to an African country was spent in Cameroon, the Peace spoken of here is like that of a volcano. The rumbling is beneath the surface... The oppressive Paul Biya, the military and the war between the Anglophones and Francophones=No real Peace.... May God have mercy on Cameroon...
@@themobileentrepreneurthe problems didn't start recently. The 15 years ago that U r talking about, one man Paul Biya and his sycophantic henchmen had been in control for two decades at the time. Africans ignorantly diminish and explain away their problems.
I love the Cameronians, good people with a gentleness of heart, My son played soccer with the Cameroon football team on the Beach in the Western Cape of Africa; Watching this brings back beautiful memories of the joy on my child's face, now sadly deceased! Thank-you lads!
Africans, we need to deeply rethink about our politics & economics. Situations are never changing ! I can see that in this documentary, the main topic is Muslim & Christianity and how they can avoid violence. but the main topic should be how the government builds roads and clean water pipes for those towns, plus how they can develop their manufacturing sector. Example; in East Africa, we stopped buying second hand clothes from America, we are making our own. This means that the $ 250 Millions we used to give out, stays in
The abhrahamics wreak havoc wherever they go. Best to revert back to the spiritual practiecs of your ancestors and have a development agenda. Sudan, Egypt etc were prosperous kingdoms before the abhrahamics came in. Islam and Christianity only subjugate Africans.
+sand mors I wondered how they say this shitty country is peaceful where anglophone n francophone fighting at the moment... Killings in southern cameroon...
Fleecing the poorest of the poor to build churches... God does not need a church, a physical building...You can pray in the shadow of a tree of the shore of the sea... God is there.
True, but true church is a gathering of people who do work of Jesus. If church starts doing what its supposed to, then poverty will vanish and prosperity comes.
Redlew diesel Truthful charities, organisations & churches do not steal from people, but invest into poor communities with things like trade education, roads, schools & jobs to better life of entire communities
Crazy how in third world countries there are always top-notch modern churches and mosques, but no modern schools, universities, hospitals, clinics, tech centres, industries, roads, etc.
No one has answer that question my brother.but i think i have the answer, the governments can't think of investing in any of the sectors you have mentioned above because, itz not for the interest of their masters.the rulers prefer to give all the resources to the masters to remain in power thus leaving the continent with nothing to invest in those domains.in cameroon, the situation is worse because the remains will be highly embezzled by a few top ranking in the government, where an individual can embezzle hundredz of billions while the masses are in mansions of poverty.
@@chrisoghenetegamaloney5799 haha you idiot. Only another African could make a comment sound as stupid as this. *You are aware that majority of the world thinks that your country is a dirty trash pile too right* 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️ LOL
As an Ethiopian whose country is delibratly divided in 80 Ethnic line for the purpose of divide and rule and now is being torn appart as a result I find Cameroon inspirational and would like to advice never to to take ethnic line, instead work on what unites you rather than divide you..in our case, the group that imposed ethnic politics were trained and supported by western countries mainly the UK...please Africans learn from Ethiopia...as Ethiopia is no more due ti ethnic politics...
This is excellent production! More eye opening documentaries like this may actually help bring more unity among the wonderful people of this mighty country.
@@chrisoghenetegamaloney5799 Well is it new to you what western documery show about African country. There is other ways you can know more about a country if you are interest to.
A land of peace but where the tensions individuals face within is on the rise. An increasingly religious but very individualistic people. We have lost faith and patience in our leaders and the government and we indeed find ourselves in very volatile circumstances. A proper analysis of the nation's deep socioeconomic status... a prophesy we are beginning to see come true!
@@miss7968 🤣hahaha.mon frère I agree with you.am from Cameroon and have traveled Asia and many other countries and I have always told my fellow country men we are Loud and Empty.just big noice. Listen.. if a Cameroonian tells you something they have or how Cameroon is just picture the worst of what they are saying bcos you will be right. Never trust a Cameroonian.Nigerians get a bad name bcos Cameroonians can also speak English. An Empty dirty Country that smells as soon as you get off the plane. A very dirty country.just go and see. The only country that was given 4 years years to prepare for the AFCON and they couldn't.a useless place and people. I fo on holidays to other Afrian Countries. I will never spend my money on that waistland till those zombies are all dead. Sold everything I own. When Trump said about shith*** countries, Cameroon should have just been shown.
@@Luna-mr3gz See frustration comming from a useless idiot trolling all over the place. You had to wrote a whole bible about cameroon because you are a frustrated piece of shit as if we care about your love. you are not a cameroonian stop trolling kid.
I found out through my Ancestry DNA test that I'm 38% Cameroon/ Congo/ Southern Bantu peoples. My second largest African lineage is Benin/ Togo. I had other smaller African lineage, and a little European too. But Cameroon, both Congolese countries, Benin, and Togo are the African countries I want to visit..
Pet Charles i feel this comment to my soul.....religion is to divid and conquer.....people still suffer under these false doctrines they dont use it with knowlege of self and reality around them everyone is thinking there is a way out....and it cripples the mind becayse survival takes over instead of reality ot is passed down to generation....a cycle
In tamil (indian language) 'camenoor' means 'peaceful country'. Its almost the same as 'cameroon' but with the syllables switched around so its 'noor' as opposed to 'roon'
Ancestry DNA is a scam hun..they just guess...unless u have an archeological tree...a DNA test is useless when it comes to pinpointing which part of Africa you're from...
If Africa builds great university systems and supporting elementary and high school systems Africa will one day be the richest and most powerful continent on earth. Then all this nonsense called religion will fade to nothing.
But Jesus Christ was b4 all things and will be there after all things. Africans have other root problems. Go back to God and see what He will do. its wisdom.

Cameroun used to be the most peaceful country of Africa until recently. The North of the country was attacked by the BOKO haram Terrorists and the anglophone crisis have killed so many innocent people. Cameroon 🇨🇲 is in the middle of a civil war that has been going on since 2014.
Paul Biya Leader since 1982..? ( 39 Years ) He is now 88.. 1 party Country.. Resources Controlled by France and USA.. Mineral Wealth.. Oil - Gas - Valueble Timber - Coffee - Maize - Cotton.. Majority of People.. Poor.. All da Best Righteous People.. In Swahili.. Nakupenda Mama na Baba.. Ubarikiwe Afrika..
100% true. Africa and the east must rise again and practice their indigenous faiths with a developmental agenda. The Abhrahamists arabs and christians keep Africans down.
@@muthuramalingamrajavel822 So true. Many parts of South East Asia were black civilizations before foreigners exploited our rich land. Many people don't even know that the first inhabitants of Asia were black because their population have been wiped to near extinction. The first mistake my ancestors in the so-called Philippines did was to accept a white god.
@Cinnamon Lee Whatever works for you. If he existed he was in all likelihood a semitic israelite and not black. The current Jesus probably was a myth created by the Romans. So color does not matter. Absolutely no evidence outside of the bible for this character. The new testament and old testament are as different as light and day but still a connect was made to appease a few tribal warring groups as well. In any rate, African tribal faiths are very rich and do not need a Judeochristian imposition on them at all (even if Jesus was black)
With hard work, and determination 💪 🙌 and love for your fellow brothers and sisters we can all get along and put hate out of our lives.....hate is worse thing to have in your heart... God bless 🙌 🙏 you all...
It is a good Documentary ,Wonder how much Faith is also Faith in those that Feeds you ...Are there anyone in Cameroon that are ateist.?When that is said :I also have Deep Respect for People that are Struggeling..!
I praise those who made this very interesting documentary. Cameroon is indeed a blessed nation. I esteem the Christian and Muslim brethren who saw the need for peace and unity in the midst of political and economic strangleholds. And, who were bold enough to speak up. In the current ongoing political conflict between the North, and the Southwest, I pray that a resolution of understanding and hope for all follows, instead of bloodshed, military intervention and mass migration to neighboring countries. There must be a clear vision of the future for Cameroonians.
People who believe this should look on the internet for some of the many pictures and videos showing the slaughter and rape, and burning of property that has been taking place over the past year or more. We don't hear about it in our news and western countries are doing nothing about it. Ask some of the Cameroonians living in Canada and the USA who came from Northwest Province about what is taking place in the area where their families live. French has been inflicted on Anglophone children. It isn't a religious problem but a problem of how the French speaking Cameroonians treat the English speaking part like a colony.
How is the state of Cameroon in 2019? This young man in the suit near the end of video speaking about the church and the bishops seems to know what he is talking about, he deserves a listen.
I hope the peace among the different people goes beyond religion forever. I fear with the donations from Saudi Arabia to built mosques in Cameroon and elsewhere comes with their preachers of Wahabism/Salafism, a hardline fundamental form of Islam. May Allah guide the Cameroons to peace.
so beautiful looking at all of these facial features. a lot of these people if they didn't open their mouths, you'd think they were black americans. nice doc. thank you.
Danie The Poet I'm a Black American. Thanks for the indirect compliment of our facial features lol ❤️ Most of us come from Cameroon/Kongo/Angola region, that's why we look similar.
