Born in the UK, but moved to the US as a kid. I have a friend who moved to the US from Australia as a kid, and she had pretty much dropped the Australian accent, but now she's back in Australia years and years later and when we talk, she starts out sounding Australian but the longer she talks to me, the more American she starts sounding. It's a super interesting phenomenon!
To me, it isn't a very strong accent. In some moments she sounds American and in other moments she sounds British. It's definitely from moving to the states at a young age and moving to Texas because people from Texas all have accents. It's all relative. People tell me they love my accent and I don't think of myself as having an accent. I'm from the US.
She IS English, but she is on GREYS ANATOMY!!!!!!!! And she has to use her American accent on Grey's because its an American show and very little have people play parts with their actual accent
Schwixx Swag i know that? i said that shes surrounded by americans all the time bc of her job so her accent obviously is a bit all over the place. i dont really get why you or irma gerd felt the need to respond to my comment bc everything that you said is obvious lmao?
Her accent in blended from having grown up in two different English speaking countries. My Spanish accent is the same, since I lived in Mexico and Colombia as a child.
For everyone saying that her accent is weird, I can relate with her. My accents get all mixed up and I really depends on what I'm talking about (for example, saying things like banana, water, tomatoe, parcel ect.) and when I'm tired I end up sounding more English than normal. She's not faking an accent here, I swear. Its just how she talks.
Her accent changes to accommodate speaking with Americans. I've been in Canada for just over 40years and my accent goes back when I've been drinking, tired or talking with people from back home. it use to drive my wife crazy, she's use to it now.
Ive never seen this interview until today and im not even 45 seconds in, and these 3 “men” have already showcased exactly what women have to deal with in this industry. Poor Camilla is just there for an interview and instead everything is made completely sexual and focused on her body. That is disgusting and she deserves more respect not only as a professional in that field but as a woman.
@@ProfessorArt1 no slayer of truth the fact that u had to reply to a completely true comment in a negative way. Some women and men have to go through this on the daily. it isnt okay
She said on Snapchat that she can’t do what Kevin McKidd (Owen on Grey’s Anatomy) does which is switch back and forth between her real accent and American accent so she usually speaks in a fake American accent off set too.
Born in London but moved to the U.S. at a young age, her accent is faded. She seems to pump it up for some roles (Lara Croft in Tomb Raider) and suppress it in others.
Yes, but as she said it's a guilty pleasure. It's not as if everyone in the US goes around saying oh I like lifetime movies. They are cheesy on purpose and not meant to be taken seriously.
Since men are not known for their beauty and most men's dress very much alike in suits it is usually come up however just come up when the man is incredibly fit Etc I guarantee if Chris Hemsworth came in jacked up for Thor it would be mentioned about how big and muscular he looks. And let me ask you this since you're trying to start a narrative if a woman did not want to be complimented on their clothing why don't they all wear similar clothing like men?
Nightmare2night No he couldn't because he wouldnt have a chance with her lets face it and also lara croft is a fictional character in a video game and films.
She explained this in another video saying she stays in her American accent its easier when shes filming i was today years old when I found out shes not American
not to be that one person who thinks all British people know each other, but wouldn’t it be cool if her and Tom Ellis were like. pals? i had read that his wife Meagan liked the show LOL
+0 Subscribers I think what Immortal365x meant was that, since she attended high school in Texas for a year and then graduated from the American School in England and later attended college back in the US, plus she has also worked mainly in the US and has lived here for like ten years, so given all that, it's no surprise that her speech is peppered with Americanisms. Her English accent is not very strong and she sounds like an American faking a British dialect -- or what used to be called a Mid-Atlantic accent.
Maybe it's cause I am an American but I loved the Lifetime movie about Kate and Willam. They took it off Netflix and it makes me so angry because I used to watch it all the time. Lol
Kate is beautiful too. Get Will and Kate on the throne now and make the Brits famous! The media loves them, and Will is a really good guy. QE II is really in need of retirement.
