Join me on this 8-day adventure on the Camino Ingles (Ferrol to Santiago) and the Camino Finisterre (Santiago to Finisterre).

Day 5 - Sigueiro to Santiago (16km/10mi)

Congratulations! You not only presented your experience so genuinely that gave me goosebumps, but I saw you are also a truly connoisseur of Galician gastronomy, being food such an important part of our culture: empanada, tortilla de Betanzos, polbo á feira, cocido, churrasco, Estrella Galicia, augardente... you got it all! :D

@@hidavidwen the perfect combination of music and image, with every shot being considered equally important, not only presenting the best landscapes and meals, but also the people walking, sweating and enjoying a cold beer at the end of a walk. And not speech in the video is cool, too many videos with too many words, speaking in videos is not necessary if you have a story already in the shots.

Beautiful video! It literally gave me tears. We did the Portuguese last year from Vigo to Santiago and are doing the Ingles next April. I really want to continue to Finesterre...this may have convinced me! Beautiful!

Thanks, it is beautiful! I brought a selfie stick...I used to bring my DSLR camera + tripod...but I stopped doing that because it was too heavy. Smartphone camera is enough...which is what I used to film this

Great camino! How can I train to walk The Camino? I have a heel spur that bothers me frequently but I don’t want this to deter my wishes and goals.

Thanks! Hm, I am not a medical expert...but I cycle a lot here in the Netherlands...and I walk a lot in general. So I'm training every day in a way. But I find the best training is just staying active-whatever that means for you. And lots of walking...at your own pace and adding smaller distances each time...and then eventually taking your backpack with you. Baby steps and you'll get there!

What did you think of the route itself? I'm trying to decide which 'Camino' route to do and this Camino Ingles is the shortest of the bunch (easier for me to get this kind of time of work). But is the route itself filled with lots to see? Vistas etc etc? Thanks for a wonderful video btw.

It's the Camino de Santiago (a pilgrimage)! I've done several of these now ever since moving to the Netherlands (nice thing is Spain is so easily accessible!) Haha, I was only gone for 10 days. Actually, everyone is gone on vacation right now (summer holidays) so all good! But yes, I made sure I got everything done before leaving!
