For me, the Meseta was a very special part of my Camino. I loved the peacefulness of it. I walked at the same time of year as you guys, amidst the dry heat of the Meseta, and the sun, fog, mud and rain of other parts of the Camino. For four and a half weeks, walking was my job. Sometimes I tolerated it, but most days I loved it. Getting up in the dark, wearing my headlamp until the sun came up, tending to my blisters, remembering to put on sunscreen and bug spray, etc., etc. The simplicity and repetition of the days were a first for me. I walked alone but was not lonely. Remember to be peaceful as you walk and to be in the moment. Enjoy. 💚
The entire pilgrimage does test the human spirit. As every day you move through the difficulties you both bring to all of us that are spectators on your argerous journey continues. This walk is terribly challenging. Well done you two. Well done.
Superb effort guys! The vlog is stunning! I don’t know you but I couldn’t help but feel proud of you both 😂. Can’t wait to see the last leg of this adventure. 🌙🌞🌈💘
The production value of your videos is off the scale guys. I'm really seeing that same talent that blew me away with your India trip. I'm so invested! ❤ Go guys!! Really proud of you both.
Just amazing. You guys have such physical and mental fortitude. I'm so happy for you that Janine is well enough to continue. Making memories and challenging yourselves in so many ways. I am in awe. Thank you for sharing your adventures. Stay safe and happy travels xx
I wasn't sure if you were still going to be on the pilgrimage this week and I am so pleased that you both are. Your journey is inspirational. Massive respect to you ❤❤❤
Brilliant video, and so proud of Janine for not giving up. And for Liam telling it how it really is. Thank you guys and good luck for the next stages of this epic adventure 👍👍👍
That was amazing! Thank goodness Janine’s feet improved! You are both so positive and brave, walking in that heat! Looking forward to the next episode❤
Wow - I'm sooooo amazed that Janine sorted her blisters out! You're both absolutely amazing people with incredible stamina. Full of adventure and information. Brilliant. ❤
You guys are amazing and truly live your lives to the fullest! We have followed you from the beginning to now and are in awe of your adventures and love for each other! Russ n Paula. 💖
So, so proud of you both. Can’t believe how you actually got to the end, especially as you hadn’t done any training 😳. I take my hat off to you. You excelled yourselves. I actually cried to see that you reached the final🇬🇧❤️
Great video ...we started the pilgrimage in 2006 we had 2 weeks leave!!! Did St Jean to Pamplona. It has got more popular. Took small tent and mats. Stayed in odd dorm but preferred tent away from snorers. Even slept on the edge of woods without tent and on the beach on way back to Biarritz where we watched a lightening storm out out sea. Wonderful stories of little miracles and help were abounding amongst the pilgrims. Good luck on the next stretch. 🙏
Whoop! Whoop! Rejoicing with you in your mini-miracle. So glad you are back on the pilgrimage, Janine. Excellent stuff one and each. What an outstanding video, despite your tribulations. Here's to the second half, many blessings.
Lovin everything about this adventure: “No walking stick is needed to wander the wild of the mind, the high country of the heart.” -CM Rivers So glad you're continuing Janine.
Janine said in the beginning that the Spanish call it the desert because it's hot dry with no shade, not that's an actual desert. Well done you two, I am so invested in your journey ❤
I’ve been eagerly waiting for your video, ENJOYED watching it very much, you are doing so well hang on in there you will be in Santiago de Compostela in no time. Take care.
👋🏻🤠 Janine is very brave because she don’t let her feet to stop walking 💪🏻 I know that the blisters can heal during the every day hiking. I had some experience of that.
I'm 69 and remember what pushing thru hard times is like. I just wish to tell you both how proud of you both I am!!!! I have the greatest faith in you both. 💗
Absolutely fabulous video. Your enthusiasm and good spirits are an inspiration. I hope to follow in your footsteps one day soon , so I am taking it all in .. And omg that pizza looked amazing 😋.
You guys are crazy. Another great production, you are Clearly very experienced cinematographers and editors etc. I find myself gripped from start to finish. You both deserve all the support you receive so I will happily subscribe to your channel.
Wow, what an awesome video, and how incredible to see you pushing forward, despite the heat and the long days. Amazing Janine to keep going and so pleased your feet are feeling better. Love the little piece about your thoughts.
What an amazing video….LOVED the montage towards the end of thoughts and memories running through your heads as you walk. Looking forward to next week. Much love,Marina
Brilliantly done guys, especially given Janine's foot problems. Really enjoying this. Reminds me of my previous Caminos and helps me look forward to my next Camino, planning for next year. Always makes me laugh when I hear people referring to the Meseta as a desert. Highly productive cereal (grain) growing land as it is. All the best for your onward journey to Santiago. It's worth the extra three days to get to the coast if you can manage it or even take the bus or taxi if you don't have time to walk.
You are both amazing! We cannot thank you enough for sharing this incredible journey with us. Making these awesome videos on top of this test of endurance is unprecedented. Stunning stuff all round x❤x
So happy Janine was able to continue and her feet healed - amazing your doing the pilgrimage and also edit and upload vids - thoroughly enjoy your vids - namaste 🙏

I take my hat off to you guys, well done Janine, you made me laugh with your joke about your foot hasn't fallen off yet, lol... Love the editing on this video too...
What an incredible journey. Thank you for this video, I have been following your journey on the Camino and this made me feel so emotional. A superb video, I don't know how you had the energy to put all this footage together as well as hiking such long days through a desert no less! Unreal. Thank you both and safe and happy hiking.
Congratulations to both of you. Janene, your such a trooper. I am in awe of you blogging as you go, I went so much into myself during this part of the walk I could barely speak to anyone until the end of the day. Take care and keep safe.
Some people passionately hate the mezeta. For me, it is probably the best part of the Camino. Long, flat walks, with lots of time for contemplation. You seem to have moved from the early part of the Camino, where the only thing you can really think about is the daily pain, to the contemplative part, where you spend a lot of time in your own minds. Food fantasies. I once spent most of a week just thinking about bread. Music. Friends. Ideas like "The Camino provides" and spending time just feeling gratitude. The monolouge about days on the Camino was brilliant. The people who have been there know precisely what you were on about. I notice that you have not filmed a single yellow arrow. Given how much attention you spend looking for them, that is impressive.
You two are absolutely unstoppable when you want to take anything on, it’s like looking at a couple who have been out for a stroll when you finally finish for a day, such phenomenal physical and mental strength you both have, your videos of your journeys have been absolutely incredible . ❤ love from Shropshire ❤
I am full of admiration for your fortitude and resilience on this trying pilgrimage. You will be very different people in mind and spirit on completion. I have no doubt you will complete it. You are made of strong stuff. Love and prayers from W Australia.
Brilliant video guys. Just keep swimming as they say. I was one who thought sandals were a bad idea but as they say you’re feet expand and sandals are probably the best thing to wear. They probably didn’t wear boots in years gone by. You’re young enough and what a thing to look back on in years to come. You’ll never forget this challenge. Good luck guys. Just one more part to do. Looking forward to seeing your next video
So So brill your walking the Camino.....keep going on your fantastic journey... is so inspirational. Keeping tuning into your grt channel . 🏴🏴🏴👏🏻😘

Another fantastic vlog Janine & Liam in your recent adventure on the Pilgrimage. It certainly is a challenge that tests your endurance. The pizza looked 😋. Love 🥰 the vlog and love 💕 Janine & ❤Liam.
It’s a pilgrimage and it is about pain to show your dedication to what you were doing. 100 years ago or a thousand years ago it was without packs and technology. Well done for doing it, attempting is more than most, so very well done
