Thanks to Netflix I finally got around to watching Spaced, just watched S1E6 and now I'm here. The memories this brings back are almost identical to the Spaced scene! Love it!!
Only just discovered it after watching Spaced on Netflix for the first time yesterday. I'm not one of those "born in the wrong generation" kids, but from what little music I've heard from the 90s rave scene, this song included, I feel I've really missed out as a 21 year old born in '98
Did anyone ever hear this track with the 'Hijack - the badman is robbin' sample over the top? The same song that DJ Supreme sampled for his "Tha Wildstyle" banger. Lyrics that were sampled went something like "who contester, new contender, co-defender, my title, who contester, new contender, w w w wheels of steel"
I used to double up on this track and phase mix it. The first time I did it was on New year's Eve, at a party for my friends. It went down a storm when i cut mixed it. It'll always have a special place in my mix history.
That's awesome! You were spinning during the golden era where Progressive House married up with Trance for a while. I love this track, the simplicity of it but how it straight bumps with that melody. so reminiscent of that era the late 90's were so fantastic

Does anyone know a track that is similar(ish) to this, and very similar era, perhaps about 10% more garage, a big bass line and it has a little vocal sample all the way through saying something like "in the body all, in the body all, in the body all, in the body all..."?
