I own a Baja warrior with a predator 212cc, I was thinking of building the 212 or buying the 420 and doing what you have done. How much frame work is required? What all have you done to it (I know the carb and header and cam but how much is all that together?) thanks!
Im gonna try a 212 with a ridiculous ratio, bone stock. Ill let you know. I have a CVT and bone stock predator, other than governor removed and an exhaust restriction that limits my top end to 4400rpms. Right now my CVT starts at 2.5 x 6.25 final drive, and works to .9 x 6.25 by 3600rpms. The CVT is doing no work after this, its all motor. Im going for a wild, 2.5 x 2.5 final drive, that ends at .9 x 2.5 on top end ( with reduced power due to exhaust restriction.) Im waiting for my sprocket to come in.
I love that engine chop. I'm planning out a go kart build with a 420cc and the stage 4 kit, and I just wanna know what it would sound like. Is that similar to what you did with yours?

Doing the same engine setup on my bobbercycle (ratty lookin' bobber built from a sweatshop cheng chung Wal-Mart beach bike). Gonna do a Stage 3 420 with the biggest carburetor I can fit on it, fit it with an 11 tooth clutch and hopefully have enough room for a Peerless 3/4/5 speed with a Jockey shift lever. Yeah, I could've just gotten a minibike or a junkyard Harley, but where's the fun in that when ya want something different, ya know what I'm saying? Frame is getting flux welded with stainless steel pipe I bought from the local AutoZone and hardware store. Not a wise thing to choose a flux welder but shit on it, Im'ma send it anyway.
I have a mini Baja 196cc with a tav2. I want to remove it and add a clutch for top end. What clutch would you recommend? Will it be direct drive to the rear sprocket? Thanks!
Long as they don't ride in the city, yeah. UNFORTUNATELY if people see someone riding this, going the exact speed limit everyone else is, using turn signals, has a speedometer, they start bitchin and cops get involved. City slickers is just not meant to enjoy life. Stuck on them there tablets an stuff. If my truck breaks down, I'm ridin my ATV to work. if you live in a rural area you definitely can without the police busting your 🅱️alls, i worked at a fishery and daily’d a 212 mini bike to work, went to the store and everything. got more thumbs up and waves then driving a squarebody, even the police waved lol
