Great review!! These certainly look like they could be a major player in the cell cam space. Do they have to connect to a specific network or do they connect to best available like the Edge from Moultrie? Lastly, how has battery life been with either lithium or alkaline batteries?

On your reviews of name brand cameras you mentioned the Edge cam had no SD card as well. And you felt the videos were held hostage with no SD. Do you feel that way with this camera being the same with no SD card? Great reveiw btw.

Thanks for watching! Good question! This camera has a usb (type 2) port. I can plug the camera into my laptop/computer and easily transfer pics/videos without going through the app 👍

Just tried mine out. Great video quality and awesome app. However, the PIR range is really poor. I have the setting all the way up to 9 and it isn’t detecting movement unless it is within 35 feet.

Thanks for watching. With Camojojo the live view is counted by the minute. Different plans offer you differing amounts of minutes (for example the $7.99 monthly plan offers 10 minutes of live time per month)

Just purchased one and it’s apparently needing a firmware update. How do you update it? Going on 24hrs now and it showing the camera on my app but it’s still won’t send a pic or video??? I have a pile of cell cameras and I’ve never had this problem.

You can go into the settings (click gear icon) then select “device info”. There it’ll show you the software version (should end in 601). If it needs updated it should give you the option to perform that process there.

No doubt it’s a challenge when there’s low/no signal. I have found the cell cameras do better at picking up signal vs my phone. In other’s words my phone says no service but the cams can pick up a bit of signal. So there’s hope for ya 😁

I'm not a fan of cellular cameras because they never seem to have coverage and their prices are way too expensive On top of that this is not a clamshell design the more open ports you have the more prominent will be to moisture Only 32 not very good I don't consider anything below 128 And unfortunately cellular kills battery life I'd much rather have a large solar panel intergrated running a lithium battery what the option of adding AA batteries I like to use alkaline because of their extremely low self-destruct rates
