Multicam wins... It is still one of the most surprising camouflages. It seems too bright if it is in the foreground, but more than once it happened to me that a person a few meters away from me, just disappeared. This is due to the nice blending of colors and the very clever use of white spots, which in the shadows mimic the space between vegetation very well. The lack of black is also fundamental. Very good comparison, have a nice day and Happy New Year!
Nice comparison, I think if the Spanish M09 pattern's base color was more brown than that gray-ish color it would be perfect for that area, the Multicam/ OCP worked pretty well there though for some regions it is absolutely too bright and needs customized with slightly darker color splotching of green and brown. Cheers!
I think the Spanish version is a little too grey. But a darker Multicam variant, while still keeping it brown, would be very interesting. Hypothetically, that would work excellently year around in a temperate environment, by blending with the ground and being independent of foliage. In my opinion, the revolutionary aspect of Multicam is that it proved that brown dominant patterns worked outside of the desert, compared to the centuries of only using dark green for those environments.
