Poverty kit? I would never use that term. That term was coined by the Gucci Chads with the huge RU-vid channels. Nothing wrong with using tried and tested gear that works. A positive side to using less expensive gear, you can buy your load out and still be able to eat too.
Also if no one mentioned you can add scrap sleeping pad to your alice belt with zip ties to make it padded, also make sure you connect your suspenders to your buttpack to help carry the load.
It’s a jail blanket…… don’t ask me how I know. It works by reflecting your own body heat back at you. The problem with them is they are noisy AF. They can be used for other purposes though
Most survivalist forget the $62 hand truck. Most of the US has a paved road within 10 miles and gravel ones as well..Fallschirm jager used a wheeled drop container. I've seen many a well equipped homeless carry hiss urban survival about town. So all that is fine for battle but Platoon sergeants mommy won't be bringing you five gallons of water, cases of beans, or 400 rounds,of ammo. Grunts have no conceptc of the wheels invention.
Alice kit fucks, and so does the earlier M1956 gear in my opinion. High speed shit works, sure. But a general purpose LBE system certainly has its place. Love mine, and I’m looking into building it out with more “survival” equipment sometime soon. I enjoyed this video, and I hope you’ll have more for us in the future!
Need vids of you going hard with this shit in the woods! People are starved for that content right now! All we have on YT right now is ex-spec op guys, doing a two minute intro of using the product they are about do a long form commercial about! Just want to see regular guys running their shit in the woods. Throw in a review every once in awhile on something you really like or modded, but make vids running your shit hard!
Just subbed. Im your Ohio neighbor. Im rocking almost the same stuff brother. Got some surplus/take home gear from my Grandfathers when they served in Korea mixed in with newer kit. I think its the best way to customize your gear to suit your needs. Keep pushing bro, you are not alone.👍
I love my belt kit. I use australian minimi pouches instead tho, which are double size of the small pouches you have. Often I change out bumpack with 2 more of them. So I will have 4 larger minimi pouches, and 2 water bottle pouches. Sord 8 point harness. Plastic clips rather than metal + 2 spares. Belt + clip, with double or extra large padded bit attached to inside of belt. More a machine gunner belt kit than a shotgunner. Anyway I use it to carry photography gear when I go into jungle to take photos of butterflys and random things :) Peace forever
Why not do the chest rig plate carrier combo? Like a velocity/mayflower or the ole taps. Run it on the carrier, run the rig stand alone. Or maybe you’re running a belt and slick armor. Very flexible. Plate carrier, chest rig, pistol belt, lbe belt rig. Helmet. Pack. You have all the options you need.
Poverty kit? I actually live paycheck to paycheck, just skimming above the poverty line. I have no guns, but I did manage to buy to a good crossbow and a takedown recurve from someone for a good price. This ain't a poverty kit. Maybe a mid-line kit.
keep uploading... though i have a rather detached aussie xennial question for you... goon squad? like boxed wine benders?? :P now to look at your catalogue
If I may, your harness clips to the tabs with holes on the buttpack, and the ammo pouches which each hold 3 mags, not 6. By hooking this way, your belt will not "droop", especially your buttpack. Nice set up, and give it a try as suggested and look forward to your comments.
Hey man sorry to hear you had some shit going down the past few year, i hope your on the other end of things and its getting better. First time watching one of your vids, definitely going to sub and watch more!
Of Course man, The Alice belt rig was mix match surplus but mostly stuff from rothco chest rig - www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MS5O5NA/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_image_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Alice rucksack - www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07ST1JHQ3/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Good video on belt kit w/harness (782 gear). Good luck when you eat those those humanitarian MRE's. Pro tip, bring some seasoning for them and try to eat it with some other meaty canned food.
782 Alice gear that was the issue back in the day that we ran with. We would alot of the time run with 4 mag pouches and 2 banoliers on patols. Looks like you have the canvas butt pack as we called them but thats a Korea Vietnam issue.
