Looks so much better than it did when I was there in 2006. Hope you guys still call that NARSTY river running through Casey Doodoo creek lol YAY THE HEAD CLUB STILL REMAINS!!!
Mannn this is def a walk down memory lane! I was there from 2007-2008 & 2011-2012 both times Camp Hovey! And man do I know the villa still like the back of my hand! Imma veteran now tho
I was there from 2001 to 2002 just seeing this now brings back so many memories and now I’m shedding a tear with all the memories from that place 21-year-old me I didn’t realize that that place would become home away from home to this day I still love Korea
When I was there in 2004 there were only like three taxis for the entire post. Had something called the "walk of shame" where you had to walk from Casey to Hovey.
Thank you for showing my hometown. Went to visit in 2015 and it broke my heart how it has changed. The time I was there prior was in '89. Been living in Killeen Tx ever since.
Was there (Camp Hovey) in '75-'76. I don't recognize one single thing....nothing. Many upgrades and much more modern looking. Starlight , Savoy and Montana clubs are all I can recall...there were many more than that. Thanks for video and respect to all that served in Korea over the years.
Wow! Thanks for sharing. I was there (1968 & part of 69) over 50 years ago. Obviously not the same village. Been back to Korea but never made it back to Tongduchon..
@@twobeer3316 I stayed in those huts on the right side when you walked into Mobile, for 2 months never had any flooding problems. I had the whole hut to myself until the 1SG found out where I was staying. The best part of the Air Cav was we had a few unlisted soldiers, like myself, and the main ops was 20 miles away in Yungugol, ground CAV ops.
Silver Star!! Lol… That was a country bar in 1997. I remember mama San would squat in front of that Alley Hissing as you went by… “You want girl.” Really Freaked me out the first time the. You got used to it. My favorite spot was Rock N Roll Together, which was a punk club across the way, upstairs. Looks like it’s gone or changed now.
It was difficult to get don q 151, had to get it from Seoul at the airforce px, but we talked the Casey class 6 agema into stocking it........ lol, damn dude 😎
This is great footage! I left Casey 23 days after this was posted, and this brings me a sense of nostalgia since the ville was a fun place to go outside of covid during my year long tour there. So many memories in this place!
Was stationed in Camp Castle and Casey back in 2008-2011, can still remember some of the places from back then, but it has changed a lot since then. Thanks for the video!
WWoooooooah the nostalgia lol. Great video man I was stationed at Red Cloud from 07-09, sucks they closed it up but I remember going around casey a lot. This brought me back thanks
This is what it looked like during the day, mostly everything was closed but a few restaurants and clothing stores. I used to get 2 bags of chicken gizzards on my way back to my room after a night of partying.
Many memories. Some good and some bad. Some of the "Juicy girls were actually worth liking. 😉 Especially in the Golden Gate. 13 years ago with the 55th MP's.
I was there 1988 myself it change a lot no studio 54 club the pioneer club and there another on the stripe bunch went to cant think of it and your right no american cars.
Happy seeing ur video nothing change remember my Korea days happy memories and sad as well as I was in love with a soldier who end up leaving me when I needed him the most😢
Was there in 2009-2011. I speak for all military personnel past, present, future. Bring back the juicy girls! That’s why we didn’t commit suicide in that hell hole 😂😂😂
Wooooow I was there in 2011 to july 2012. The ville hasnt changes much. This brought me back so many amazing memories good and bad hahaha. Got my first article 15 haha but the guys I was there with became my brothers love them to death. Even got my first divorce cause she cheated hahaha good times... 11bravos!! Manchu second to none!!
It's hilarious the Las Vegas and Silver Star clubs are still there. The, um, "cowboys" who went there even made their own vests to identify as patrons of the joints.
6:37 LOL the Silver Star Club is still there? Do the patrons still cosplay as cowboys? 7:39 The T-Club was the best club in the ville. Was TA-50 Alley alive and well? What about The Turkey Farm?
Looks like a ghost town, when I was there hawkers were out early trying to sell you everything from food to their daughters, there was a mamma son (Spelling) just outside the main gate by 122nd signals, barracks that sold fresh cooked octopus, cooked on charcoal, that was a great late nite snack when toasted!…..loling
