I know this video is old, but the grill is still in production. I bought the three burner unit, the griddle, grill box, and tote bag from Cabela's. Went to Amazon for an adjustable 0-30psi regulator + gauge with long hose for $20. Now have ultimate flame control. Then outfitted the grill with a three zone (battery) electronic ignition and electrode kit from Amazon for about $25 extra. Forget about the old school quartz ignition push button kit that has to be installed on each individual burner. With careful shopping you can find a spark electrode kit and spark generator that will fit in the factory holes with little to zero modification. You will have to make a simple bracket to hold the spark generator itself, but that is simple. NOW this is the ultimate camping grill.
For safety sake, I think it would be advisable to put the propane tank out from under the stove. I bought the same exact stove @ Dicks today. It is a beast!!!
Jpb6583 this model, no. All accessories including legs and windshield are seperate. They sell a bag that u can get to store it all together. But they do have a model that does have fold up legs. I wish I had gotten that model
Nice one, bought this a couple of days ago. It came with the cast iron griddle and carry bag for the whole thing. I'll let you know how we get on. How long does your gas canister last buddy and how many kg/pounds is it?
iVlogBuzz yea use the wind shield. It doesn't just keep the wind out, it keeps the heat in. Anything around the unit will burn especially if its on high without the shield.
The Camp Chef safety instructions are not printed in every owner's manual. The video shows the stove fairly close to the wall behind it. Here are the instructions: 1. Never operate this appliance unattended. 2. Never operate this appliance within 10 ft (3 m) of any structure, combustible material or other gas cylinder. 3. Never operate this appliance within 25 ft (7.5 m) of any flammable liquid. 4. Never allow oil or grease to get hotter than 400°F or 200°C. If the temperature exceeds 400°C (200°C), or if oil begins to smoke, immediately turn burner or gas supply OFF. 5. Heated liquids remain at scalding temperatures long after the cooking process. Never touch cooking appliance until liquids have cooled to 115°F (45°C) or less. 6. if a fire should occur, keep away from appliance and immediately call your fire department. Do not attempt to extinguish an oil or grease fire with water. I keep a 10 pound ABC fire extinguisher nearby when I am cooking.
