i remember being as a kid like “um wtf why did she win” and now i’m 17 (edit i just turned 18 as of august 2020) and i realize why. this song is so so deep and i relate so much.

When I first came to school, no one knew me, I was a 'Geek' and a 'Nerd', I was fat and no one wanted to know me. I sat in the corner at break and lunch times. For our middle school talent show, I sang this, and people came up to me saying I was great and I should be proud of who I was. And now, In high school, I still take on board those people's advice.
