I finally gather up the ingredients to make one of my favorite ways to cook chicken.
Persian Saffron Chicken.
Tender, juicy and usually cooked over an open pit of coals (we had fire restrictions so we had to change our plans and go with the Tembo Tusk Skottle).
Hope you like it as much as we do.

Thick yogurt
Safron
Shallots
Onion
Limes
Lemons
Salt
Pepper
