Hi - I recently purchased the T200 with the integral USB C connection from the solar unit to the camera. The camera would not write data to the SD card so I returned it for a replacement. The 2nd camera also had some difficulty taking video from the "On" position. After experimenting with different combinations of SD cards and adapters - all of an acceptable speed and quality - I got it working ... sort of. Whenever turning the camera from the "Off" position either to "Setup" or "On" position, I get this alert: "Please plug out card," and the camera shuts down. if I do this several times, I can eventually get to the ON screen and 5,4,3,2,1 countdown. After contacting them, CamPark sent me a link to a firmware update, but it's a dead link. Have you experienced any issues like this? Thanks

Hello Charles. I'm sorry for your issues and can say I haven't experienced anything like that and I've been actively using this camera for quite some time. I know you are working with CamPark to try to fix your issue but have you tried a factory reset yet? If you have, then I would stay on CamPark getting you a better firmware file link. I hope this helps and best of luck. Let me know if this or any other way solves the issue. If worse comes to worse maybe a second replacement unit may do the trick. I just hope they aren't changing things with newer versions and having issues like this. All the best.

@@ParksNTech Thanks for your quick reply. If I were shooting video in 4k, I'd expect some problems, but shooting in 1080 should not create any issues. I've had a number of trail cameras before and none have given me such headaches. Too bad, because the solar feature is fantastic and video, when it works, is excellent. I'll continue with Campark tech support and cross my fingers. Thanks for your input.

@@ParksNTech Quick Update: I downloaded and installed the firmware update and now everything on the screen is upside down. Even the navigation buttons are reversed - up and down is now left and right. It's a total disaster. I'm returning it. Take care.

Hi there! I am wondering if you'd know the range you can connect via Bluetooth? I havent found that info yet

Hello! Thanks for the support and the comment! I can't speak for others, but I have mine located about 140ft from my house and I am able to access it right by the door from inside my home. Again that is roughly 140ft. You may be able to get more or less depending on things like walls and other outside interference. I hope this helps.

Just so I understand, you don't need to have batteries installed if you're using the solar panel? I've charged my solar unit overnight, but there's still no power to the device. DOes it need to charge in the sun as well?
@ParksNTech
@ParksNTech 3 года назад
Hello! Thanks for the support and the comment. Batteries are not needed if you are using the solar panel. Just be sure the solar unit is plugged in correctly as there are 2 ports (one for DC in for charging and 1 for DC out for output). Batteries make it easier and more reliable if you are not putting it in a sunny location, but it does indeed work with no batteries at all. Let me know if this helps and if it doesn't we can troubleshoot further.

How would I know when the solar panel is fully charged ( with the cable to charge it) ? I charged the solar panel for 6 plus hours and my camera still won't turn on...
@ParksNTech
@ParksNTech 3 года назад
Hello and thank you for your support. The very first time I charged mine, it took forever for the light to change on the solar panel unit. First things first, make sure the cables are plugged in to the ports correctly. There is the top one to charge and the bottom one to provide power to the camera. I assume you have these correct? (Sorry to even ask this, but this answer has solved a lot of other issues so far. So I just want to be sure so I can rule this out for the trouble shooting process).

@@ParksNTech Hi. Yes I have it plugged in the correct one, top one for charging the solar panel. The red light shows, and after a few hours it's gone. I know the camera works (used batteries).Maybe my solar panel doesn't work. I don't know

@Andreea SoDark Thank you for the update. The next step would have been to try with just the batteries - So I am glad to hear that works. Either the solar panel is not working correctly or the cable that connects the solar panel to the camera is bad. I would try contacting campark and let them know of the issue. Their customer service is pretty good, from my experience. Sounds like the solar panel unit or the DC power cable is bad. I'm sorry I don't have a quick fix for you on this one.

In the user manual on page 6 I've noticed the solar has Type C interface power out at the bottom. Does this mean you can connect solar to camera without the need for the solar power supply cable? Thanks
@ParksNTech
@ParksNTech 3 года назад
Hello and thanks for the support. Yes, if you want to, you can use a separate solar panel to power this camera. Its just a standard dc port. You will still need a cable though going from the solar panel to the camera. Hope this helps!
@warsameadam5572

@@ParksNTech Campark made new version using USB c type interface without the need for cable. Basically you plug it in. Have a look user manual page 6. This is great if you just cable free setup. This eliminates wildlife chewing on cable. You can still use female usb c type extension. Campark needs to update T200 on their website its misleading.

Haha. I am not, but for a few videos, I was testing out a text to speech program that I trained with my real voice. I no longer use it for the newer videos.
