On February 23, 2020, I set up both of these trail cameras side by side on a fence in the backyard. They are facing the woods and a lot of activity happens back there.
This video is an update and comparison of both cameras, after 5 months of use - plus a ton of great samples.
Enjoy!

I've had the T45A for about a year and a half now. For the first year it worked great but now it's having some real problems. The batteries don't last nearly as long now, and the camera is beginning to malfunction. I've had to throw out several days worth of footage because the videos are either completely full of pixelated noise (like a colorful version of TV snow you'd see on old TVs) or the footage is completely blanked out, just a completely white picture the whole way through. Shoulda just sprung for a more expensive camera.

Just bought the t80 and have yet to get it set up correctly. First time around I ended up with some 31,000 photos. Made some changes, relocated camera, and got zero photos. Made some changes again and still nothing showing up. No photos at all. I have time set to 24 hours, and then set hours to 20:00 to 0600. The wind blowing a bush should have set it off, or the chickens which might move around at night set it off....I got nothing. Something is moving around the yard at night, closed in high fence. Raccoon, opossum, squirrels , maybe a wild cat ...as something got to and ate three fist size chickens. I just can't seem to find any video or even the campak website which gives details on the right settings. Everything seems to be about comparisons, where to set it up or how to keep it from being stolen. I just need to know how to set the settings , if you could help with that , would be awesome....thanks

I do go through the settings rather quickly, but in this video I do go through my settings. Hope this helps. If you have any other questions, I will be more than happy to help. Thanks again and I hope you get yours up and running. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-nzO2QK_F-Sw.html

Are you sure about the facts stated at 2:10 ? Is this valid for any trail camera ?

I can only speak for these trail cameras from campark. However, I noticed that the t45 wasn't triggering as much as the t80. Which made me wonder why. So I starting looking into it. My settings were different. So as a trial, I changed the t45 to low sensitivity and it began to do a better job capturing the same things the t80 did (which was already on low). I thought this may been just a fluke. However, upon further research, I noticed other people having the same issues. After even more research I realized that with these cameras, it must be true (other cameras also have this as well). Again, I can't speak for all of them, but for these, the lower the setting the less movement/heat is needed for it to trigger. The higher the setting, the more heat/motion will be needed for it to trigger. Most people keep theres on normal or medium, but I wanted to capture everything. Hope this helps.

@@ParksNTech My T45 is still out in the woods but I received the T80 today. I tested it, and for me "High" IR sensitivity results in more pics. I can also notice this in the setup mode: The red led which indicates when the sensors detect movement will light up when I'm further away from the cam, on "High" sensitivity.
