@@DonnieDispersed Appreciate it! I have the same van, '95, and basically the same electrical setup except I don't have breakers between my batteries and the isolator. I'm also using 2 awg cable. Now I'm thinking I should put a couple breakers on each end.
@@kiddobrewing what kind of isolator are you using? The size breakers you need will depend on how much current your isolator allows to pass. If it’s a basic relay that will allow your alternator current to flow freely through it you will probably need a larger breaker.
@@DonnieDispersed It's a 140 amp connected from the positive of the starter Battery to the isolator and then to the aux battery. And then grounded to the frame. Turns on at around 13.3 volts and off at 12.8.
Thanks for doing this Donnie. So good to see someone doing things the way simple cost effective way. Ehhhhh yeah now that ya done went & left us in "S"uspense. Got a few questions. The new or is it new to you butt older? How many door"S" does it have? Doe"S" it have a hatchback? You can load up a yugo or even a gremlin & I'm sure we'll enjoy what ever you put out.
