Been looking for a decent camping French press and came across your video. Looks great! My only question about it is would the fuel savings be noticeable if you were able to cover it while boiling? One big lesson I learned back in the day that stuck with me was to keep pots or cookware covered to reduce fuel usage and speed up boiling time
Have you tested any of the Hercules lineup class leading warranty & exclusive rubber compound & their owned by a larger company that has more popular name recognition I think you'd be pleasantly surprised
this is something I keep seeing is everyone saying the same thing about these tires "Only get these if your doing intense offroading all the time, do NOT get these if you plan to both onroad and offroad, THEY WILL GET YOU KILLED" of course I find this out only AFTER i purchased them and started having panic attacks, but hearing someone actually give them a good score Im a little less uneasy about my purchase.
I think they mostly say that because more off road capable tires make more noise than highway tires and get like 5% worse fuel economy. aside from that, they should be fine on the highway
Do you have to use similar batteries, or can you use different batteries, or different battery chemistries? I'd like to keep the SLA battery for starting, but use LiFEPO4 for the house batter.
Great video... Just had a quick question, So is the secondary battery technically running in parallel or is it just to power aux items? Like is it being used during starting as well?
A firearm will alter each & every equation. There is a giant responsibility involved with the decision to carry. Fortunately, the presence of a firearm serves to stop trouble in its tracks. The problem will be *much more dire,* though, if the desired result of the brandishing doesn’t materialize. You could suddenly be in a life or death situation. So yes, there is a giant responsibility involved with the decision to carry….
@@amirnakhai5273 it charges when the engine is running. Its connected to the starting battery when the engine is running via the relay and charges at the same time. I have since added a solar panel to this van, and it charges that way as well.
So I just got a Chevy Astro van not even a month ago. It has one of them 30 watt plugs in back by the trailer hitch. Idk a lot about this stuff. Does that mean I most likely got another battery somewhere and I can hook up to shore power? I figured it was like a plug to hook up trailer lights or something since it was located next to the trailer hitch. 🤷♀️ 😂
This is what I need in my Chevy Astro van that I’m getting ready to build out. Can I just pay you to help me? 😂 I hate anything involving electricity. Ugggg….. you make it sound so simple too.
Would that be considered two 12v batteries wired in series? Does that make it 24v output on the other end of the auxiliary battery? And if so can I fast charge a portable bluetti powerstation from this battery using 24 volts instead of 12v cigarette lighter slow charging?
I’m adding a 3rd and 4th battery to my Cummins to power a truck we toolbox I’m building and this is by far the best breakdown I’ve come across in the last couple of days explaining how to wire it up. 10/10 on this one 🍻
Great job on your van. I have been looking for bucket seats to swap out the captains chairs in the front of my '93 Chevy G20 Sport Van, plus how to redo the ceiling panels. Great video. I have subscribed to your channel. 🏔
You did this outside in the sun? I would want to have someone supervise that knows what they are doing. Just curious how long start to finish? Was there a ton of overspray? I really want this done but don’t want to pay someone $3000 to $6000…
I’m thinking of buying one in my area it’s a 2003 4x4 v6 129xxx miles great condition inside and out water pump was just done, it seems like a do it all suv
How many scops of coffee for one press? For strong coffee. One, Two, Three, Four Scoops of tablespoons of coffee? And how many cups will it produce? Many Tanks Peace from Texas
Thx for this simple explanation. So I use a power station to run most of what I need but I’d like to do this to dedicate to my mini split AC. So instead of wiring to a fuse panel I would simply connect that appliance the same way right? Thx
this review gave me the confidence to take the leap on these, finding the right tire for my Cherokee XJ has been a nightmare of going down rabbit holes on the internet... , thanks for the video.
@@Hunter__14 For using to power things with the engine off it needs to be a deep cycle. A regular battery will be ruined quickly by the constant draining and recharging. Adding an inverter is easy, just wire it up to the battery directly. Not through a fuse block.
Awesome video exactly what i was looking for, but, how would you stick a charger along that line? Id like to have charger installed also to keep the aux battery topped up while operating vehicle
