Is your 240v charger fed off your 240v hook up DB or will you just plug into the 240v socket as and when you need it?

Hi, yes the battery charger comes on when connected to 240v hookup to keep the battery charged, its always connected to a socket. I don’t use hook up that much as the solar keeps the battery topped up.

@@exploresandtosummit thanks for the replies. I had my Ctek installed by a converter. I am going to add the solar panel myself. Do you find the 115w is sufficient for your need. I believe the Ctek solar function also sends excess generation back to the starter battery as well when the leisure battery is fully charged? This would be useful as I do not use my van daily anymore!

@@WSMK-oz6ru Yes the solar keeps my main starter battery fully charged, I don’t use my van all the time and I’ve had no problems. The panel keeps my fridge working all the time just on the solar. Ive been really amazed by it to be honest. Fitting the panel yourself is straight forward, its only two wires, this is the first time I done it. Good luck, any questions just ask.👍
