Hi Bob, loved this look around the motor homes. I liked the F60 and the Auto sleeper. Thank you for sharing. Obviously Poppy decided you needed a little wash bless her x
Hi Bob and Jenny this such a shame me the wife and our 2 children was here only a few weeks ago as we live in Liverpool could of bumped into you both lol
The landseer Van's looked very nice indeed, saw a review by Dantheman 321, preferred the Ford. I have a campervan but love all these reviews, so thanks
Great video Bob, I don’t know if you follow Alan Heath, but he said right at the beginning of lock down that there would be a big surge in Motorhome and caravan sales as things started to ease a bit, however in 1 to 2 years there would be a slump as all these new and used purchases come back in the market as people return to their norm pre COVID. Interesting thought!!👍👍
Was the KonTiki finished? Nice gaps between the wall and ceiling above the door. The Landseer conversions were looking very good and the woodwork was indeed better than most. Great to see the bed on runners as well. Just ordered an Ocean if i knew about Landseer i may have had a look... pity sounds like you think they were local as well Bob.
Hi Bob, i do like the ford landseer i am sure could fit a portaloo in it somewhere at the back under the seat maybe? preferred it to the VW one. Also like the ford tribute. Hi Poppy are you comfy there haha :)
I can't believe it. I haven't yet received my new motorhome (next week 🤞) and I'm already checking out potential replacements for the future. Do you have any idea what you are doing to me! Keep them coming. Did Poppy get a Special hairdo for her 7th birthday?
Hi Bob - Thanks for the video. I may be a bit naive, but why are the small camper vans much more expensive than the Tribute MH? Nice kisses from Pops at the end.
I can't say I know all the reasons, but a coachbuilt like the Tribute is built on a production line in the hundreds if not thousands, whereas a Landseer is handbuilt in small numbers. Conversions have always tended to be expensive because the convertor has to buy a whole van, but the Tribute is just cab and chassis, to which a caravan body is added.
Motorhomes have never been cheap, so I wouldn't count on prices dropping much when demand falls off. On the plus side, depreciation has been generally low, especially if you buy second hand you won't lose out.
I can't help thinking that unless there is massive improvement in battery technology in the next 10 years the motor home/caravan and leisure industries are going to literally vanish.
I suppose that we are dependant on commercial EVs with decent ranges becoming available. The technology is just about there, but the costs... I'm more optimistic that these vehicles will start to become more widely available and affordable.
