Thank you, yes, too bad they could not tap for maple but don't need a hole that big,🤣 thankfully they only go after the trees that have defects here.

I love the history of the Hudson bay era. Fur trades trappers and mountain men. I was born in the wrong time 😂

Yes I believe a few of us were, like the pioneer times and other frontiers though harsh were the backbone and I missed out on giving them a hand and putting more skills to use but also liked those long pioneer dresses too. Thanks for stopping by Steve, appreciate your continued support in our community

Loved hearing about your dad i trapped many years ago mostly water trapping muscrates , Mink and beaver als racoons as they ran stream and brooks I did catch a few foxes and coyotes the fur markets have died which is sad so many animals are hit by cars and now we are dealing with rabies. Love to see you carving there are many options keep some band aids with also

Thank you Howard, yes you haven't lived until you ventured in the bush doing those things, tending a line or making a cedar stretcher or cleaning a beaver hide with a spoon. I have a roll of elastic bandaids and lots of aid kits, I know it will be impossible but I was always taught to swing the knife away from you hands, imagine in carving it may not always work out that way because of the pressure points you are using. You will be happy with what I am doing next. I love to work with wood, so this all will be right up my alley, thanks for your help.

Thank you so much my friend, hope you are well. I am so grateful as I learned so many skills and wisdom from my father, we were blessed with awesome parents. I have never personally seen one to properly identify, but there are big quests/conferences here and videos of sightings. They even have restaurants and shops named after bigfoot. My luck would be like a UFO sighting the camera does not focus on a good day 🤣😂really nice to hear from you see you soon.

@@NatureInspiredSnipsnSnaps there have been sightings of panthers, leapords and possible lynx but its a gray area, government and powers that be deny there out there , but I did an overnight camp on land were there was a sighting of a large black cat, with landowners permission, its on my channel, 👍
